1 Invitation Conference on RF Measurement Technology, for State of The Art Production and Design Gävle September 11 th -12 th 2007 The Conference on RF Measurement Technology is a joint arrangement between the Nordic Radio Society (NRS) and the Center for RF Measurement Technology at the Conference Chair Niclas Björsell nbl@hig.se Technical Program Chair Claes Beckman cbn@hig.se Exhibits Chair Olof Bengtsson bob@hig.se Technical Program Committee: Claes Beckman, HiG Jan Carlsson, SP Eva Englund, Ericsson AB Peter Händel, KTH Magnus Isaksson, HiG Niclas Keskitalo, Ericsson AB Jean-Christophe Nanan, Freescale Semiconductors Hans Norström, Infineon Zlatoljub Milosavljevic, Pulse Henrik Sjöland, LTH Peter Stenumgaard, FOI The trends for advanced wireless communication products are increased bandwidth, more efficient modulation schemes, decreased size and cost, a transfer of the digital interface closer and closer to the antenna, and more complex antenna structures. The emerging technologies for wireless communication to support the evolution of wireless systems, e.g. new efficiency enhancement techniques, multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO), orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) and integration, creates new challenges for both design and production. Decrease of test times and decrease of investment cost are key issues for production. The combination of digital signal processing and microwave technology is often used in product design, but it also offers large possibilities in the measurement technology area. The focus of the conference will be on the future radio products and the measurement technology to support design, production and usage. Topics include: RF Measurement Technology Software Driven Measurements Modular Instrumentation Metrology Antenna Measurements Electromagnetic Interference Key Note Speakers Power Amplifiers Propagation and channel sounding RF and Microwave components RF and Microwave systems and application Jens Zander Vimar Björk Olav Andersen Per-Simon Kildal For More Information and Registration see:
