1 DAVID BARRY, DIRECTOR, PRODUCER, POST PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR INTRODUCTION My name is David Barry and I am a seasoned Television professional. I have worked in the industry for 15 years starting as an intern where I learned all phases of production. I began editing 15 years ago on tape based systems and moved into non linear on an Avid in Since that time I have grown into directing and producing but I continue to work from my extensive post-production background. I EXPERIENCE PRESENT I am currently working as a contract Producer/Director/Editor for Stella Productions. I have worked on locations and in studios directing reality based television shows and documentary format productions. Most projects I work on currently are in the HD format. I continue to utilize my extensive post background as I edit most of the content that I produce or direct. I additionally have returned to my shooting routes and have shot several sequences in projects that I have been involved with for Stella Productions I worked as an independent contractor with a small production company in Charlotte North Carolina. I serve as post production supervisor, editor, animator, interactive media programmer, and digital artist. I worked using all facets of my skills from editing, graphic arts, animation, DVD & CD-ROM authoring, and special effects generation During this period I worked with a small independent production team in Las Vegas Nevada called Planet Kinetic. I served as the Production Manager but often my responsibilities flowed over into other areas. I typically would storyboard a project, be it a CD-ROM, website, DVD, or video presentation. If the project is new media based (CD-ROM, DVD, or Web oriented) then I would create all content, programming, and authoring for the project. If the project was a traditional media piece (video, or graphic layout) then I would serve as director or producer of any shooting that needed to be done, I would do any graphics or animations necessary, and any editing that was needed. During a typical work day with Planet Kinetic I would work with Macromedia Director, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, Bryce 3D, the Avid editing system, Sound Edit 16 or Sound Forge, and any number of additional tools that I an familiar with.

2 During this period I worked with Mid Vid Multimedia. This company turned into Planet Kinetic. With Mid Vid Multimedia I worked with more traditional media types. I served as a film and video Producer, Director, and Editor. I worked with the Avid edit system. Additionally I produced and authored 5 Enhanced CDs between 1997 and During this period I owned my own small production company called Cyberfunk Productions. I served as Managing Director of a small three-person team. During my time with Cyberfunk I started out producing television shows for the Las Vegas Market, but it is during this period of time that I began to move into Multimedia. In 1996 I created Living Las Vegas which was the first Interactive Relocation Guide that was associated with any city. Living Las Vegas was a CD-ROM that contained all the information anyone moving to Las Vegas would need such as where schools, shopping, hospitals, municipalities, and parks and recreation could be found. It also contained detailed information on homebuilders and realtors that participated in Living Las Vegas. Between 1996 and 1997 I produced 4 editions of Living Las Vegas, a CD- ROM for another builder in Las Vegas, and my first Enhanced CD demo for U2 s Popmart tour. (Due to an Internship that turned into my first professional work in television and video I did not apply for graduation from UNLV and went straight to work for a company called The Visitel Network. I have been working professionally ever since then.)
