1 Helena Lindholm: Freelancing illustrator since 1997, in own business since I was born 1976 in Stockholm, Sweden, and this is where I still live and make my marks. With a big family of four sisters, all with tall fingers and big mouths, we all found our ways of how to be heard and seen. So, I was the clown, and found my best tool in the pen. Caricatures of co-travellers on the subway or in classrooms developed into a living, and with a fascination of ink and lines, I do most of my work by hand I attended school for Informative Illustration, and found great ways and instruments to use in my storytelling ahead. The use of satire, cartoons and political illustrations is my way of catching the readers attention, hopefully interest, for issues that might not always be easy, lightweight and fun.
