Karnataka Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming and Comics (KAVGC) Policy with a focus on promoting AVGC Park, Digital Art Centers, Center of AVGC Excellence etc. First State in the country to announce IT Policy, revised as Information and Communications Technology Policy in the year 2011.

9 ESDM Cluster Status Green field Cluster proposed in Tumkur Dist. Three Brown field clusters at Electronic City, Peenya and Mysore. Brown Field Cluster at Electronic City, Bengaluru Approved in principle by DietY, GoI on 30 th January, Total cost of the project is Rs crores. Preliminary DPR Mysore BF Cluster submitted by IESA&IL&FS., to be forwarded to DietY New Delhi for approval
