The Combined ADEX / EUROCOLLEGE Training and Employment Program includes General English Language training, IELTS preparation and Medical English language training provided by EUROCOLLEGE in Dublin, Ireland and simultaneously the credentialing; facilitating testing requirements; immigration green card processing and sponsorship; preparatory training and employment placement services provided by ADEX. Enrollment for the ADEX / EUROCOLLEGE Combined Training and Employment Program will commence in Korea and China in July 2005 when representatives from ADEX and EUORCOLLEGE will visit those countries. Recruitment of nurses from other countries in Asia will commence in August A combination of personal character, clinical skills and nursing experience, academic qualifications and personal interview will be used in the selection process. The selection panel will look at levels of English language proficiency and general suitability for preparation, credentialing and placement in USA acute care hospitals and other healthcare facilities. Candidates will be required to successfully pass the Academic Module of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) examination with an Overall of Band 6.5 and a Speaking Band of 7.0 and also the CGFNS and NCLEX examinations by the end of their studies with Eurocollege in Ireland. Candidates will be required to obtain a full Registered Nurse license in one of the 50 US States and in most cases either a CGFNS Certificate or a CGFNS CES. International nurses who wish to take part on the Combined ADEX / EUROCOLLGE Training and Employment Program will be required to pay their own study program course fees in advance to Eurocollege; however ADEX will make no charge to nurses for providing the credentialing, preparatory, immigration and employment service to the USA provided that participating nurses adhere to the employment offer conditions. Nurse students undertaking the study course with Eurocollege will be permitted to work up to 20 hours each week in order to support themselves financially during their studies in Ireland.
