5 Before, the customer s order would come to us, and we would manually reenter everything into our system. Now, with the PrintStream integration, we are able to take the needed data from those same Web-To-Print sites and push it automatically without having to touch much of anything. The information exists across all our systems once the customer submits the order, and the system helps maintain accuracy since that type of job requires very little human intervention. The (pick and pack) process of inserting items into folders, envelopes, packets, cartons or skids for a single recipient or a distribution list PrintStream manages the details of order taking, order import from customer-provided files, order processing, fulfillment, shipping, billing and notifications Print-on-demand fulfillment The ability for your customer to order products that are manufactured (printed) on-demand as opposed to items that are preprinted and held in stock in your warehouse PrintStream can integrate with the print estimating and job engineering modules to automatically generate production work orders for the on-demand manufacturing of printed products Product fulfillment Similar process to literature fulfillment but includes shipping of an item(s) such as balls, pens, toys and other imprinted or non-printed material to a single recipient or small group PrintStream addresses the detailed management of printed and non-printed customer inventories
