3 Unicsoft operation models Engagement types we offer Unicsoft delivers a full cycle of services including software development, project management and support services to our customers. Our consultants and development staff are located in Kiev and other Ukrainian cities. We operate by the following engagement models: 2 Out-staffing / team extension This model offers an option to hire a team in Ukraine and work remotely with it as if it is your own team. The customer has full control over the development process, developers salaries, benefits etc. Unicsoft charges a flat admin fee for the support of operations. Outstaffing works well, when you need to develop and support a long-term project and reduce IT costs. Peak resources engagement This type of contract is normally used when customer needs more resources to speed up development of in-house team. In this case, one or several specialists are assigned for the customer's project and work together with the customer's team under control of their project manager. Developer(s) can also have a short business trip (up to several months) to join the customer's team on their territory. Fixed-price project development With this type of contract, the scope and budget for the project are fixed. Expenses are more predictable, but this type gives less flexibility in adding new features and improvements during the development. It's good for small-to-medium sized projects with well-defined technical specification. Time and material project development With this type, the scope and budget are not fixed the customer is billed only for the hours actually spent by the developer. It gives more flexibility in terms of adding new features during the development and changing priorities and order of development. It is good for bigger projects or maintenance of existing software which is already in use by the Customer.

4 Spiritual Capital Foundation case study Spiritual capital foundation case study The situation In January 2014, Naftali Brawer, CEO of the Spiritual Capital Foundation (SCF), contacted Unicsoft in search of a highly skilled development team to implement his ideas. Spiritual Capital Foundation is a successful UK organization that provides HR consulting services. It focuses on coaching inspirational leaders and on helping employees to discover new meaning in their work, and thus to become more engaged. Dr. Brawer constantly faced the situation that corporate value statements were buried as dead texts somewhere on a website or in an end-of-year report. His goal was to create a solution that could bring them to life, using live discussion and comments left by employees, clients, and even investors of the company. The solution As a first step, Unicsoft suggested conducting a business analysis and creating a functional product specification to lay down Dr. Brawer s ideas into a structured document. During a series of Skype calls, Unicsoft s Business Analyst identified the customer s vision of the project, major goals, as well as the impact on the target audience, and created a functional specification and user interface wireframes of the product. After the approval of the functional specification, Unicsoft started development of MyLivingDocument product as a fixed price, fully managed project. Unicsoft established the Scrum process, ensuring early demonstration of work in progress, implementation of usability improvements at early stages, and transparent communication between the customer and the development team. This version was first launched in November 2014 on the KPMG premises. Unicsoft and SCF have built a long-term software development partnership: Unicsoft is continuously providing technical support of the product and is responsible for Intranet deployments. Externally, it looks just like any other smartphone, yet its sleek frame packs quick, accurate and high-quality medical sensors, powering seven health tests. The goal of the project was to develop a telemedicine solution for gathering and storing medical tests from specialized devices (which are connected to human body).
