To forget- unsatisfactory consciousness about flooding hazard... (Vergessen mangelhaftes Gefahrenbewußtsein...nach dem Hochwasser die Katastrophe so schnell wie möglich vergessen 3. Who has to do what, who is responsible...cooperation of landuse planning, fire brigade, civil defense... wer hat was zu tun... Raumordnung, Feuerwehr und Katastrophenschutz muss ein gemeinsames Konzept erstellen

25 What has been achieved so far- Was wurde bisher erreicht finding out responsibilities; setting up working groups Erosion model has been developed; results about erosion along the Venoge development of partnerships in all regions layout of hazard maps worked out; maps are available for DCC, FCS and sub catchments in RPS flood emergency management system is implemented in district of Heilbronn

26 Milestones - what will be done next Die nächsten Schritte preparation of hazard maps in Neckar catchment Produce final streambank erosion for the study reaches of the Venoge and Enrick Rivers Produce a diagnostic map for German pilot study reaches Set-up flood partnerships in the entire Neckar catchments and improve the information transfer in all regions Development of flood emergency systems in Dublin and the Enrick catchment
