Some events require a projection control desk, to co-ordinate the contents for several projection screens, interpreting equipment or remote signal transmission. However, a single data projector may be enough to guarantee the success of smaller events. Data projectors When choosing a data projector, you should keep in mind the purpose it was designed for. You should also consider the size and light conditions in the space where the projection will take place. This should determine the luminous power of the projector. The most common resolution ( ) is slowly declining, but still usable for simple presentations with minimal graphics on smaller screens. Today we work with a higher and wide screen resolution, which is suitable for the most demanding graphic applications and large screen. Video projectors Film on a DVD, videos from faraway trips, vacation photographs and all other beautiful moments that are worth remembering can be brought back in the family circle or with your friends. A great experience, as if you were in a cinema, can be created by video projectors with a screen size reaching several meters. LCD or DLP projectors are used with a wide-angle image ratio of 16:9. Lenses and Equipment As well as cameras, also conference projectors allow replacement of lenses. The shortest lenses with a projection ratio of 0.67: 1 are mainly used for a rear projection, where is the shortening of the projection distance the most important thing. On the contrary, if we need to extend the projection distance and the light should be above the heads of viewers across the whole convention hall, we use lenses with a projection ratio of up to 15:1. Lenses are provided with a variable projection ratio - the zoom (again the analogy with the camera). Thanks to the zoom, you do not need to move neither with the projector or the screen during the installation, but you can just turn with the lens to increase or decrease the size of image. 4

When choosing a suitable projection screen you have to take several basic rules into consideration. You will find out that your audience will appreciate it. 1. The size of the presentation room: The bottom edge of the screen must be at least 1.2 m from the floor. If you place the bottom edge lower than 1.2 m, the viewers in the back rows will not be able to see the screen over the people in the front rows. If the ceiling height is 3.4 m, the maximum screen height should be 2 m. 2. The size of the auditorium: The closest viewer should be at a distance of at least double the screen height. The last viewer watching the presentation should be at a distance of not more than eight times the screen height. If the size of the screen is not sufficient, you may consider adding one or more supporting screens. 3. Keep in mind the necessary projection distance: A projector with a standard lens must be placed at a distance equal to double the screen width. This means that for a screen measuring 2.34 x 1.73 m, the projector should be placed 4.68 m from the screen for both front and rear projection. For conference projectors there is also a wider range of available lenses. 4. If front or rear projection cannot be used due to bad light conditions (too much sun), the LED wall takes over the role. LED walls can be assembled into big modules and are therefore very suitable for events with a large number of participants, especially for big sports or social events. In contrast to projections, where the most distant viewer must be taken into account, in LED walls the viewer sitting closest to the wall must be considered, because the diodes have a certain density and if the viewing distance is too short, individual diodes can be seen. Rear projection is a high quality and elegant solution for large screens. The projector transfers the image onto a translucent projection screen (focusing screen). This solution makes it possible to place not only projectors, but also other equipment, outside of the conference hall. The participants see a technically neat and unobstructed solution. Furthermore, image quality and brightness is much higher with rear projection than with front projection. These universal graphic switchers enable switching between different signal sources without interference. Graphic managers and switches add not only elegance, but also professionalism to your presentation.
