2 About Us Arbusta provides impact technological services to the corporate world. We are the first social impact outsourcing company in South America. Our mission is to empower women and youth from underprivileged communities, providing them with the needed social ant technical skills and a first-job opportunity within their neighborhoods through digital services production. Value proposition From Arbusta we assume that the digital services bring a unique and still untapped opportunity for job creation in underprivileged communities. There, youth and women will be able to access to global jobs working from within neighborhood nodes, in their local context, which will allow the causal generation of "impact outsourcing". Meanwhile, the outsourcing of digital services facilitates our clients recruitment and assessment process, at the same time that it enables them to access a pool of flexible, dynamic, scalable and competitive collaborators. 3 Our model Our context According to the World Bank South America has an unemployment rate of 7.2% 1, nonetheless this does not take into account a surprising sub employment or informal labor rate that borders 50% 2 of the EAP (economically active population). Sub employment is a synonym of low salaries, limited labor stability, lack of social security and labor rights. The situation becomes more complex in the local area, as for example female unemployment in Rosario is one of the highest of Argentina, and in Gran Santa Fe it represents 33% of women under 30 years old. On the other hand, current trainings that aim to promote the inclusion of neglected communities through employment are focused in the actual training rather than in job creation. Therefore, what promises to be an alternative to overcome marginality, ends up gathering frustration and deepens the gap. Meanwhile, it is predicted that the global market for BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) will grow up to a 5.1% annually in 2015, and that the "impact outsourcing" will have the 11% of it (574 billion in total). We see that these coexistent settings require their interaction for an integral, comprehensive and collective gain. Where are we? For one year and a half now, we have fostered local development initiatives in native communities. Also, we have gained invaluable experience in implementing ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems in waste collectors cooperatives, and in digital literacy training in vulnerable groups. Besides, efforts were initiated to reinforce the first technology nodes in cities of Rosario, Buenos Aires and Mendoza, Argentina. Our team Arbusta is the first "Impact outsourcing" enterprise of South America, co - created from Njambre Accelerator, with a founding team of professionals with over than 40 years of experience in the development of companies and IT outsourcing, and more than 30 years of working on digital literacy initiatives, social and business entrepreneurship.
