Missing Tooth Detection Tooth Wear Monitoring Missing shovel teeth entering the crusher or conveyor belt is a costly, timely and dangerous situation to rectify. With the ability to detect missing teeth and monitor tooth wear at the same time, management can avoid unplanned downtime, while planning for teeth change-outs in an efficient manner. Payload Monitoring For hydraulic shovels and excavators, ShovelMetrics also has the ability to sense the payload for every bucket loaded. This real-time feedback provides the operator with the information necessary to determine if dumping the load will overload the haul truck and to improve loading efficiency. Missing Tooth Detection Lens Cleaning System (LCS) The LoaderMetrics system utilizes a thermal camera to monitor bucket teeth and detect when a tooth is missing. The system uses advanced machine vision techniques and artificial intelligence algorithms to continuously track the status of each tooth. The in-cab monitor provides real-time, tooth-status updates and typically warns the operator of a missing tooth within 2 minutes. Missing Tooth Detection performance can be affected by dust, dirt, mud, road grime and mist accumulating on the bucket camera. offers a non-abrasive Lens Cleaning System (LCS) that can be integrated with LoaderMetrics, keeping the camera clear of debris, reducing the likelihood of scratches and improving the longevity of the lens. Blind Spot Reduction Designed for Durability Positioning three colour surveillance cameras at the left, right and rear of the loader aims to prevent fatal collisions and costly equipment damage by providing the operator with greater visibility. Using the 8.4 in-cab touch screen monitor, operators can monitor surrounding collision zones and avoid potential accidents. Our system has been designed to the highest shock and vibration standards.
