Starting with our first product, a monitor trolley, this range quickly blossomed into a family with six variations. The range has expanded to include other daily use items with ongoing product development continuing to add new features which aid and simplify product use. Today, the Health Care Product division undertakes custom designs covering a variety of hospital and clinic disciplines. Our vision sees the Health Care division progressively manufacturing more Kiwi-made items, which are currently imported into New Zealand. With Cable Ways, twenty two years of experience in design and manufacturing, we are bringing value and reliability into our country s Health Care system. Our primary mission statement is to pursue excellence and become the preferred supplier into an area of our endeavor. This keeps our feet firmly planted in a disciplined and proactive environment. 4 hospital furniture Presentation Station Designed and built in New Zealand, this presentation/teleconference trolley allows quick setup on a stable platform using large diameter castors for easy lift and inter-room movement. The unit has a top mounted camera shelf and incorporates an equipment shelf with an additional lift out laptop shelf for local presentations. Integrated trolley handles allow simple movement in confined spaces and the bifurcated vertical extrusion frame allows convenient cable management and storage. Suitable for 32 to 50 landscape mounted displays. An intrigal locking clamp secures the screen to the stand, substantially increasing security. Monitor Trolley The monitor trolley is the standard square metal trolley with a castor on each leg to assist in quick relocation of the trolley around the wards and rooms. The Monitor trolley supports many types of display monitors, image processing and recording devices. 6 ergonomic keyboards Maltron ergonomic and special needs keyboards The MALTRON keyboard has been shown to relieve the symptoms of RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury) and CTS (Carpal Tunnel Syndrome) in hundreds of cases and has enabled many RSI and CTS sufferers to resume their careers. MALTRON adaptive keyboards are designed to allow people with special needs to enter computer data much more easily and quickly than with conventional keyboards. Dual Handed USB Trackball Keyboard A version of the fully ergonomic E-Type MALTRON keyboard with an integrated trackball in the central palm rest. In the position the ball may be easily moved by the thumb with the fingers cupped and the hand resting over the key thumb group. The top of the ball is slightly below the palm rest surface so that it does not interfere with normal keyboard use. The central location of the trackball enables either thumb to be used with the wrist kept straight and the hand tilted outwards in the comfortable position. The keyboards also come in alternative language letter layouts, some of the language layouts include Canadian-French, English UK, English USA, French, German, Norwegian, Spanish and Swedish.
