We are part of one of Germany s biggest chemicals distributors thanks to our joint venture with the STOCKMEIER Group, which is likewise a family-run enterprise. The fourth generation of the Frank family and Peter Stockmeier, who is the third generation of his family to run his company, jointly pursue the goal of sustainably strengthening the joint venture by means of healthy growth in order to safeguard its success in the long term. STAUB & CO. took an important step in this direction when it acquired 100 % of the shares in F. B. SILBERMANN GmbH & Co. KG, based in Gablingen near Augsburg. The two companies complement each other perfectly: Like STAUB & CO., SILBERMANN has been involved in chemicals for more than 140 years. Both businesses stand for the values of the traditional SME. And our roots will remain ÿ rmly in Southern Germany, thanks to our sites in Nuremberg, Gablingen and Munich. The formation of STAUB & CO. SILBERMANN results in one of Southern Germany s most efÿ cient chemicals traders, with substantially increased capacities, a balanced product portfolio of standard and speciality chemicals, and a comprehensive array of services. These range from seamless chemical supplies to contract-based manufacturing and ÿ lling, laboratory and analysis services, technical advice regarding applications and training for your staff. In addition to supplying good compounds, we want to continuously expand our business relations with you, i. e. our customers and suppliers. We use this strategy s preventive measures to reduce the possibility of defects occurring in any of the process steps. A major component of our company-speciÿ c quality management is the application of SAP R/3 to all of our business processes. This guarantees that batches are traceable at all times. In addition, we can keep our customers permanently up to date regarding delivery capacity, scheduling and delivery status. This allows us to guarantee uniform quality across all processes. The bond formed between STAUB & CO. and SILBERMANN has once again led to signiÿ cantly increased delivery capacity. The result of this is one of Southern Germany s most efÿ cient chemicals distributors. STAUB & CO. SILBERMANN fully covers Southern Germany with its sites in Nuremberg, Gablingen and Munich, and also serves as an efÿ cient supplier to customers in Austria and Switzerland. In addition, as a member of the STOCKMEIER Group, we have very close connections with 16 other sites and sales ofÿ ces in Germany, bringing our worldwide total to 46.
