7 Two steps to study Communication Sciences & Disorders Declare after 30 semester hours Apply for admission may be admitted at 45 semester hours

8 Online application form Overall GPA of 3.0 Admission Apply by Feb 1 st or Oct 1 st of the semester during which you will complete the following requirements: 45 semester hours A speech prerequisite screening test RC 1000 (3.0 or higher)* RC 2001 (3.0 or higher)* CSD 2259 (3.0 or higher)* CSD 2260 (3.0 or higher)* Four(4) semester hours of the General Education Science Inquiry requirement (3.0 or higher)* *3.0 in a single class means you are required to obtain a B or higher

9 Other Important Classes Graduate School Requirements Psychology of human growth and development (PSY 2210) Statistics (ANY with STT prefix, but to meet general education math requirement take STT 2820) ASHA science requirements for graduate school: physics/chemistry & biology (general education requires you take two in one of these categories) (recommended physics class is PHY 1812 or PHY 1814) (recommended biology class is BIO 1201 or BIO 1202)
