This hazard orientation enables the user to react directly to incidents and safety gaps. 12 Runway Refurbishment and Airport Modernization Consultancy Services Refurbishment of runways in operational airports will always be a challenge for their operators. The operational constraints and the level of refurbishment needed must be effectively coordinated. Refurbishment works must take place at night within a short time period during night curfew when the runway is closed.
