3 Biographies Dr. John Arrowood, Ph.D., C.Psych., is a clinical and forensic psychologist on staff in the Forensic Division of the Complex Mental Illness Program at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. He has been a primary rotation supervisor in the CAMH CPA/APA accredited psychology internship program each year since He served as the Director-of-Clinical Training for the psychology internship program at CAMH from 2000 to His practice involves assessment of risk for violence, criminal responsibility, and fitness to stand trial with criminal defendants, as well as the assessment and treatment of sexual offenders. Since 2004, Dr. Arrowood has specialized in the assessment and treatment of child pornography offenders. Additional areas of practice include the assessment and treatment of Posttraumatic Stress conditions. Dr. Arrowood regularly lecturers on stress and stress management and has published in the areas of fitness to stand trial, anger disorders, and anxiety disorders. Ainslie Heasman, Ph.D., C.Psych, has been a psychologist with the Sexual Behaviour Clinic at CAMH since August 2012, providing service to both the inpatient and outpatient clients. She is currently developing a program for CAMH clients under the Ontario Review Board who have engaged in sexually inappropriate behaviour. Dr. Heasman also oversees the clinical delivery of SBC s Hypersexuality treatment program. Prior to CAMH, Dr. Heasman worked at the Ontario Correctional Institute (OCI) providing assessment and treatment services to provincially incarcerated men, with a focus on the treatment and assessment of men who have sexually offended. Dr. Heasman developed the intensive program for men who sexually offended while at OCI. Dr. Heasman is experienced in working with Sexually Violent Predators in Washington State, within the state prison system in California, as well as having engaged in various forensic assessments relating to; risk to reoffend (Canada), and competency to stand trial, and insanity defences (United States). Detective Paul Krawczyk has been with the Toronto Police Service for 18 years. In 2002 he joined the Child Exploitation Section and became the first online undercover officer for the Toronto Police Service. Detective Krawczyk has partnered with numerous international law enforcement agencies in the coordinated investigation of the global trade of child pornography images online. Detective Krawczyk was co-winner of the Police Officer of the Year for 2011 for his undercover work in Project Sanctuary which led to the arrest of over 60 individuals from around the world for trading in child sexual abuse images and videos and for the rescue of over 30 children worldwide. Daniel Rothman, Ph.D. C.Psych. is a registered clinical and forensic psychologist and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Health Psychology, Faculty of Medicine, at the University of Manitoba. He specializes in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents and adults with sexual, aggressive and antisocial behavior problems and has provided assessment, consultation, and treatment services in child protection, hospital, and correctional settings. He has served as an advisor to child welfare and forensic mental health programs in Manitoba, Ontario and British Columbia and is a member of the Adolescent Guidelines Committee of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA), tasked with writing international practice guidelines for professionals working with adolescents who have engaged in abusive sexual behaviors. Daniel has special interests in the roles of trauma, attachment and autism spectrum disorders on child development; multisystemic and holistic approaches to intervention and risk management for high-risk youth; and how to tailor therapeutic relationships to enhance clinical outcomes. He has published articles and book chapters on these and other topics and frequently provides training for child welfare, mental health and criminal justice professionals locally, nationally and internationally. Stephanie Swayne, MSW, RSW, has been a social worker in the Law and Mental Health Program at CAMH since 2006 and an Adjunct Lecturer with the University of Toronto (Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work) since She is an ATSA member and presented the Sexual Behaviour Clinic's treatment program at the ATSA conference in She is currently involved in providing group and individual therapy to men and women who have committed sexual offenses, and/or been diagnosed with paraphilias. She is a part-time professor at Seneca College and she has lectured on psychotherapy and mental health issues to a wide variety of audiences. Dr. Treena Wilkie, BScH, M.D., FRCPC completed her medical training at the University of Ottawa and her psychiatric residency at the University of Toronto. She has been a staff psychiatrist in the forensic program at CAMH since 2005, working on the Assessment and Triage Unit, a General Forensic Unit (LGUD), and the Forensic Outpatient Program. She also conducts assessments and facilitates a treatment group for mentally disordered sexual offenders in the Sexual Behaviors Clinic. Dr. Wilkie is the Inpatient Head for rehabilitation units in the Complex Mental Illness Program. She is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto, and a member of the Ontario Review Board. She has pursued research, and published, on topics including absconding in forensic mental health services and resident education in violence risk assessment. Dr. Scott Woodside LL.B., M.D., FRCPC is currently the Clinical Head of the Sexual Behaviour Clinic at CAMH, and the Lead Clinician for Assessment Services at CAMH, coordinating the assessment of mentally ill individuals charged with criminal offenses. He has worked in the Sexual Behaviours Clinic for the last 18 years and is primarily responsible for administering sex-drive reducing medication to sexual offenders. Dr. Woodside trained as a lawyer, prior to entering medical school, and subsequently completed his specialty training in psychiatry and forensic psychiatry at the University of Toronto. He works doing both criminal and civil forensic cases, and has been involved in more than 80 Dangerous Offender/Long-Term Offender applications. Dr. James R. Worling, Ph.D., C.Psych. is a clinical and forensic psychologist who has worked extensively with adolescents who have sexually offended, and their families, since During this time, he has presented many workshops throughout Canada and internationally, and he has written a number of professional articles and book chapters regarding the etiology, assessment, and treatment of adolescent sexual offending behaviours. As part of his full-time consulting and clinical practice, he is an associate faculty member at the University of Toronto, and he serves as an Associate Editor for Sexual Abuse: A Journal of Research & Treatment.

This workshop will be of interest to service providers with an interest in forensic clients, addictions, mental health and the criminal justice system. This interactive learning experience is to share knowledge about the latest evidence-based clinical practices and to enhance awareness about access to the CAMH Sexual Behaviors Clinic. If there are no available spots in the visitors parking lot, drive through toward the black parking gates and proceed into the larger internal parking lot. The gates will be temporarily left open. After parking, walk back through the black gates and enter the college through the main front entrance doors. These doors will be temporarily left unlocked. (All other doors require card access.) Report for registration and make your way to your classroom. At the end of the event, participants will leave the building as follows: Participants who parked in the smaller visitors parking lot will need to exit through the main front entrance doors. Participants who parked in the larger internal parking lot, will need to exit through the side doors (northwest side of the building) in order to gain access to this parking lot. They will not have access by exiting through the main doors because the gates will be closed at this time. (Please note the gates will automatically open as a vehicle approaches to leave the parking lot.) Participants using public transportation will need to exit through the front main doors.
