Nopetro The Energy Solution
About Us Founded in 2008 Design, finance, build, operate, maintain and supply Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Fueling Stations Focus on Medium and Heavy-Duty Vehicles Awarded first 20 year government natural gas (CNG/LNG) turnkey fueling contract in North America
About Us Comprehensive Service: 360 Approach to Value Added Benefits Other partnership opportunities will maximize industry development Personal approach to business relationship Created the Public-Private Partnership (P3) Natural Gas Fueling model with the City of Tallahassee and Leon County Schools Tallahassee, Florida
Why Natural Gas? Natural gas is Clean ( green ) American Abundant Cheaper Safer July 2012 Overall Avg. Nationwide Fuel Prices on Energy Equivalent Basis U.S. DOE Clean Cities Alt Fuel Price Report Nationwide Average Price in Gasoline Gallon Equivalents Nationwide Average Price in Diesel Gallon Equivalents Gasoline $3.52 $3.93 $30.52 Diesel $3.36 $3.75 $29.13 CNG $2.05 $2.28 $17.75 Ethanol E85 $4.58 $5.11 $39.69 Propane $3.64 $4.06 $31.56 Biodiesel (B20) $3.50 $3.90 $30.30 Biodiesel (B99 B100) $4.16 $4.64 $36.09 Nationwide Average Price in Dollars per Million Btu
Why Now? Proven commercially (e.g. Kenworth, Freightliner, Mack, Gillig) Compelling ROI Superior equipment (engines, fast-fill stations, etc.) Ideal for medium and heavy duty vehicles (refuse, specialty, trucks and buses) Transit and refuse industry increasingly moving to CNG
ABOUT US WHY NATURAL PARTNERSHIP CNG STATION Trucks Specialty Buses Refuse
ABOUT US Who we are WHY NATURAL PARTNERSHIP CNG STATION Bus and Trucking Manufacturers
Maximize Industry Development Leon County Schools July 4, 2010 Leon County Schools (LCS) issues RFQ to interested vendors to design, build, own and operate CNG Fueling Station on LCS land Nopetro awarded contract LCS committed large quantity of GGEs annually, and to transition entire fleet to CNG Nopetro designed, financed, built, owns and operates state-of-the art CNG Fueling facility fueling 70 vehicles daily
ABOUT US WHY NATURAL PARTNERSHIP CNG STATION CNG Fast Fill System Suitable for light, medium and heavy duty vehicles Natural gas is delivered via pipeline to fueling station Using state of the art equipment and processes, natural gas is dried, and compressed at the station site and turned into vehicular fuel Storage tanks are above ground, and used primarily as a buffer, as system processes and converts pipeline natural gas into CNG and fuels vehicles Dispensed (gpm) faster than petroleum stations
