Due to the hard wired process logic (stuck in cement) and inflexible data models they are extremely difficult to change Configuration is built from technical people for technical people and not for business people (insight out and not outsight in) Customization is based on table and parameter settings and not on business processes These apps have a high time to value and are limiting rapid change and fast innovation
