13 REGION 1/7 Mountains Gramado Black Lake Communications Square Lake decorated with trees imported from Germany's Black Forest. Its waters are deep and dark green loaded, reflecting the high pine trees that alternate with colorful azaleas in winter and blue hydrangeas in summer. Saint Domingos Church (Igreja de São Domingos) Church built in colonial, simple baroque style, with only one tower. Praia do Meio It is the quietst beach in Torres, not appropriate for swimming but very beautiful. Lighthouse Hill (Morro do Farol) Ideal place to enjoy all the natural beauties of the city. 18 REGION 6/7 Metropolitan Area Porto Alegre City Tour Usina do Gasômetro Praça da Alfândega It passes through 17 touristic points in 11 districts of the capital in approximately 1h20m, from Tuesday to Sundays and on holidays. It is one of the most important architectonic symbols in town. In a short walk distance, you will find Cais do Porto, where you can go onboard the Cisne Branco and enjoy the view from Guaíba estuary. This square is surrounded by historical buildings, such as MARGS, Memorial do RS and Santander Cultural. Near the square you can find Casa de Cultura Mário Quintana and the Mercado Público Central (the public market).

19 REGION 7/7 Metropolitan Area Porto Alegre Ibere Camargo Praça da Matriz Farroupilha Park Sitted by the Guaiba River the museum is home for the famous famous gaucho painter Ibere Camargo. The building projected by Alvaro Siza, famous Portuguese archtitect is a landmark in Porto Alegre, and probably the best spot in town to check the famous Guaiba sunset. The administrative, religious and cultural center of RS, where the executive, legislative and judiciary branches of the government are located. The square is surrounded by other historical buildings. Also called Redenção. It is a nice place for a walk on Sundays. There is an important flea market, called Brique da Redenção where you find local handmade art craft, antiques and furniture. Inside the park is located Café do Lago, a place with live music and different kinds of coffee.
