13 Article 5 (6) Belgium apply first subparagraph of art.5(6): equidae born in Belgium shall be identified in accordance with Regulation 504/2008 before 31 December of year of birth of equine animal or within six months following date of birth, whatever date occurs later. Article 12 (4) Belgium doesn t intend to make use of derogation provided in art.12(1) concerning alternative methods of equidae. Article 14 (2) Belgium has foreseen derogation in its legislation but it is not used at moment.
