4 Thank you to all of our sponsors and partners for another successful year!
5 Letter from the PRESIDENT First of all, let me say thank you to all of our supporters and partners for another successful year of serving the children and families of Arkansas. With your help, we have initiated several new programs and services with more on the way this year. As during the past year, we will continue to develop new service delivery models in response to Arkansas Medicaid Transformation project and healthcare reform. This past year we have begun to integrate our services with physical healthcare providers. Our Monticello Residential Program began a pilot project for implementation of a Behavioral Health Home. The goal of the Behavioral Health Home is to coordinate all care and resources necessary for the client s behavioral and physical health. By beginning the only pilot program in the state we will be positioned to implement the Behavioral Health Home agency wide once Arkansas Medicaid Transformation begins. We began efforts this year to implement trauma focused care with training and certification for several of our clinical staff. Over 90% of our clients have suffered some form of trauma. Within the next year all direct service staff will be trained in trauma focused care and this evidence based practice will be applied agency wide. Through an expanded partnership with CareLink we began providing daily physical and mental wellness activities to the senior community at the Bess Chisum Stephens Community Center. We plan to enhance these services during the coming year to better serve the senior citizens of Central Arkansas. Within the next year our Prevention Services will be expanding its Parent Resource Center to allow parents and families access to all of our available parenting resources online. This will allow us to meet the needs of today s parents as well as serve a much broader audience. This past year we completed the consolidation of all our Little Rock programming onto our 12 th Street campus. This includes all new Day Treatment Program classrooms co-located with our Outpatient Therapy services. Our facilities have also been upgraded to energy efficient systems. Parent education classes are now being offered at the Bess Chisum Stephens Community Center. This move is improving our ability to offer services to the community in a more efficient manner. Thank you again Arkansas, for helping us build healthier children and families in our State. Sincerely, Doug Stadter
