The largest part of the programme is delivered at the ICMA Centre, part of Henley Business School, one of the largest and most prestigious business schools in Europe. As part of the programme s international exposure, one month of study is also held in Athens, Greece, a country with a long standing tradition in shipping, the largest merchant fleet in the world and home to several leading shipping companies. While at ALBA Graduate Business School, American College of Greece, you will attend specialised shipping courses and workshops and participate in other activities, such as visits to shipping companies, vessels and ports, accompanied by information sessions from shipping practitioners. Upon graduation you will be awarded two full time MSc degrees in International Shipping and Finance, one from each institution. You will specialise in maritime trade and the commodities carried by sea, shipping markets and cycles, the management of maritime businesses, chartering and ship-broking practices, shipping finance and investment methods, shipping related risk management strategies and quantitative techniques, maritime logistics systems and legal aspects in shipping. Key Facts Entry Requirements Minimum 2:1 or equivalent from an overseas institution. The degree does not require any previous knowledge or work experience that is shipping related. English requirements IELTS: Score of 6.5 overall with no component less than 6 when attending the 6-week presessional English course offered by the University of Reading. Entry to this pre-sessional course with a score of 6.5 fulfils your English language requirement. Please note that students not attending a pre-sessional course will need to pass IELTS with an overall score of 7 and no component less than 6.5. TOEFL: Overall score of 100 for the internet-based test with no less than 22 in reading, 21 in listening, 23 in speaking and 21 in writing. 4 Postgraduate masters programmes

Graduates are eligible for exemptions from the ICS Qualification and CISI Diploma examinations. In addition, participants who successfully complete the degree including the elective module International Securities Markets will be granted the ICMA International Fixed Income and Derivatives Certificate (IFID).
