2 GHBA Group Insurance Program As a member of the Greater Houston Builders Association, you have access to our Health Insurance Program. This program allows the GHBA to function as one large group which has many benefits. The program was designed to avoid or minimize certain aspects of the changing healthcare industry that are going to be devastating to a large number of businesses. When you purchase your group insurance through the GHBA, the insurance risks are spread over a greater number of people which will help you deal with the upcoming rate increases over the next several years. The projections for smaller companies outside of our program are significant. Larger companies might not get as large of rate increases but they will still be substantial. The GHBA program has been designed to insulate you from not only rate increases in the first year but also subsequent years. There are many plans to choose from allowing you to continue to customize benefits. Consider not only the cost of premiums, but also the level of deductible each plan offers. Greater buying power also enables a large group to get access to more benefits and services. This includes group dental and vision plans. If you are a GHBA member, you will have to meet qualifications for group health insurance to be considered. All quotes will be released by The Stevenson Group. The Stevenson Group will be marketing these plans to all members of GHBA.
