This document describes the three AcuityLogic hosting options available to you so that you can choose the best hosting option for your company. 2 Cloud Cloud AcuityLogic Cloud offers businesses a full-featured practice management solution without the hassle of server maintenance, security, or self-hosting. Get all of the benefits of our optical office management system without the significant costs of purchasing, installing, maintaining, and upgrading the software in-house. Our secure and affordable hosted system gives you access to your optical office management system and data from any web browser. This turn-key solution is hosted in the cloud, or Internet, and does not require additional server hardware or internal IT support from your company. If your business complexity, integration requirements, IT budget, and IT skills are low while your urgency is high, this solution might be the best hosting option for your company. 3 Third Party Hosted Third Party Hosted AcuityLogic Third Party Hosted offers businesses an optical office management solution that integrates seamlessly with backend billing and lab systems without the hassle of server maintenance, security, or self-hosting. Our AcuityLogic Third Party Hosted solution offers electronic data interchange (EDI) to directly bill insurance carriers. A centralized database ensures data from each of your offices is collected and available for you to analyze. Get all of these benefits without the significant costs of installing, maintaining, and upgrading the software in-house. Our secure and affordable third party-hosted system gives you access to your optical office management system and data from any web browser. If you select to use this hosting option, a server will be set up for you and will be hosted at a third-party facility. This option does not require additional server hardware or internal IT support from your company. If your IT skills are low, your urgency is medium, and your complexity and integration requirements are high, this solution might be the best hosting option for your company. Our AcuityLogic Self-Hosted solution offers electronic data interchange (EDI) to directly bill insurance carriers. A centralized database ensures data from each of your offices is collected and available for you to analyze. This option allows you to host the AcuityLogic application at your facility and gives you control of the server hardware, IT support, and redundancy. If your urgency is medium while your business complexity, integration requirements, and IT skills are high, this solution might be the best hosting option for your company.
