2 Consultant Professional Background and Credentials 2 Since 1986, I have been actively engaged in various aspects of construction, specializing in remodeling/building with an emphasis in trouble shooting and custom work. In March of 2012, I attended the HAAG Roofing Inspector courses and obtained my Residential and Commercial HAAG Certification. In 2011, I attended IICRC s Commercial Drying Specialist course and received the designation of Fire & Smoke Restoration, Water Damage Restoration and Commercial Drying Specialist. In 2010, I attended BAMP s Certified Renovator Course to receive the designation of EPA Renovator for lead renovations. In October of 2010, I attended Infrared Training Center and received the designation of Level I Thermographer. In 2007, I attended IICRC s Fire and Smoke Restoration (SRT) course to receive the designation of SRT (Smoke Restoration Technician). I have successfully completed this course and passed the SRT exam. In 2006, I attended Xactimate Estimating Training regarding all facets of utilizing Xactimate s estimating program with additional in-company training in In 2004, I attended ASCR s (now and hereafter referred to as Restoration Industry Association R.I.A.) Certified Restorer s course to receive the designation of Certified Restorer. I have successfully passed this course and received the designation, Certified Restorer. A Certified Restorer is a professional craftsman qualified by experience and expert training to engage in all aspects of restoration and to uphold the following Code of Ethics as set forth by R.I.A.: 1. I will prepare my estimates at a fair price. 2. I will limit the scope of my estimates to the damage involved, as I perceive it. 3. I will not knowingly prepare an estimate for more or less than the restoration required without so stating in my estimates. 4. I will not enter into an agreement with property owners, insurance adjusters or subcontractors to give or receive rebates or compensation not specified in my estimates. 5. I will not discuss my prices with a competitive bidder while bidding is open. 6. I will not enter into any secrete agreements to do more work for the same price, nor will I charge a lesser rate for the word done than the rate quoted in my estimate. 7. I will keep abreast of new research and development in fire, water, smoke and other related damage restoration so as to give my customer the benefit of the most effective techniques available. 8. I will keep adequate job costs and administer my company s affairs with accepted business and accounting procedures. 9. My estimates and opinions will reflect my best professional judgment and nothing else. In 2003, I attended R.I.A. s Certified Restoration Technician s course and received the designation of Certified Restoration Technician.

3 In 2003, I attended Firestone s BPU s (Building Products University) seminar on low-sloped, commercial roofing. 3 In 2003, I attended the Indoor Air Quality Association s (IAQA) (now and hereafter referred to as American IAQ Council) Certified Mold Remediator s course and received certification and the designation, Certified Mold Remediator. As a Certified Mold Remediator, I am qualified to provide mold remediation techniques and mold remediation services. Insurance Restoration Consultants is a consulting company servicing insurance companies, Insured and Businesses alike. As a consultant, I am responsible for: 1. From 1997 to 2000, I was self-employed as a general contractor specializing in various forms of residential and commercial, construction, building and remodeling. My self-employment enabled me to receive hands on experience in conducting construction, building and remodeling practices, in

5 preparing estimates and to be responsible for the company s sales, marketing, and accounting practices. 5 From 1995 to 1996, I was a subcontractor for NES, which specialized in concrete forms and carpentry for commercial buildings. From 1991 to 1994, I was a roofing mechanic and crew chief for Quality Roofing on residential and commercial buildings. From 1988 to 1990, I was employed by Lample Landscaping. I was responsible for constructing retaining walls and decks, installing waterfalls, lawns and drainage systems From 1986 to 1987, I was an Apprentice for Loughery s Remodeling.
