It s then blow-dried straight and ready for application. The Polymer Bond Your stylist will place the bond behind a selected section of hair and use a guide to make sure that it s positioned perfectly in place two centimetres from your scalp. The Application Strand by stand, the bonds are placed under your hair and fused to your locks with our Classic or Cold Fusion Machine. It takes just few seconds to fuse each bond. The Result Once all the bonds are in place, your stylist will cut and style your hair. No. Great Lengths stylists are expertly trained to apply our extensions. The bonds have been formulated using a unique blend of polymers that replicate the molecular structure of Keratin, a protein found in natural hair. Once applied, your stylist will talk you through how to maintain your extensions, to keep both them and your natural hair looking fabulous. A Q Q. Are Great Lengths hair extensions for everyone? A. Extensions are a cosmetic procedure and do require special maintenance to look their best. Think carefully about what you want from your extensions and how you are going to look after them properly. Hair must be five to eight centimetres long as well as in healthy condition before application. Most of our salons offer free consultations so you can discuss with your stylist if extensions are for you. A Q A Q Q. Why are human hair extensions better then synthetic ones? A. Human hair is superior because it acts and behaves like your own natural hair. All of our extensions are 100% human hair and can be styled using heated tools and appliances, allowing you to change or update your look as often as you like. They can also be professionally coloured or permed, so your options are endless. Q. How long are my Great Lengths extensions designed to last? A. If you follow our simple maintenance programme, your extensions can last up to five months if applied with our Classic or Cold Fusions systems, and up to four months if applied with our Fast Fusion system.
