Meaningful Use Defined To achieve compliance with the HITECH Act and the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare), healthcare facilities must go beyond implementation of EMR solutions. They must be able to demonstrate that their company is making Meaningful Use of those solutions. But what exactly does Meaningful Use entail? Meaningful Use is defined as the use of EMR solutions in ways that can be measured significantly in quality and quantity.
