The Norwegian U women s national team was qualified and played the FIFA U World Cup. A 2-1 win against Mexico was followed by two lost matches (to Korea DPR and Brazil) and the team did not qualify for the knock out stage Norway U women s team played the FIFA U World Cup and qualified for the knock out stage after following results in the group stage; Korea DPR (2-4), Canada (2-1) and Argentina (4-1). In the quarterfinal Norway lost to Germany. Norway won silver medal in Euro 13 in Sweden. Norway defeats Denmark in the semifinal but lost to Germany in the final.
