5 Indicative Business CASE Data Aggregation - Source Systems & Central Account Manager Purpose of the project is to obtain a cross-reference of external IDs to internal IDs. These internal IDs are used throughout Bank from back, middle, and front office to accurately identify clients. Due to their customized requirements, Bank partnered with Credit Dimensions (CDi) to build an outsourced data competence centre that is responsible for carrying out day to day data scrubbing and produce data extracts using prescribed business logic. Following are the tasks performed by CDi data competence centre CDi accepts, from client, daily and monthly feeds from 15+ source systems including external rating agency identifiers (Standard & Poor's (S&P), FITCH and Moody's) and of the firm s internal identifier (UCI) from their central account master repository Perform automated & manual matches of the external source system IDs to the UCI using criteria such as legal entity name and domicile country at an obligor or Issuer level. The resulting cross-reference is then made available daily via reports and a feedback to Bank s internal data governance team A custom developed search module is the front end to client users to access the external mapping information where available and it provides a feed to Global Risk Reporting System containing the External Mapping information per obligor. CDi has been granted remote access to Bank s network to perform necessary tasks required by the projects. CDi matching engine is being used for cross-reference of data feeds received from Bank. Manually process exceptions generated by automated matching engine. 11 Indicative Business CASE Our client has developed a web based exposure monitoring dashboard for their customers to subscribe Development of this dynamic dashboard requires assembling security, broker and issuer reference and market data and presenting it on the screen. One of the core and fundamental function is to ensure that all securities appearing in the transactions file are mapped to their respective issuer and the broker. For the product team this would mean increase in data volume, stricter service levels and additional team members. While the product team continue manages product delivery and customer queries, client partners with CreditDimensions (CDi) for determining issuers of the securities, augmentation of issuer reference data and its maintenance. CDi technology and data services team will cover following services Setup IT infrastructure to support data exchange and between client and CDi applications. Receive security files periodically and map individual security to its issuer Augment issuer record with required reference data attributes.
