3 PHIL Die Roads to Democracy(ies) Aims and Content To provide students with knowledge of and insights into the development of democracies To trace political, cultural, social, historical and economic aspects of the emergence of democratic ideas, institutions, and structures Each participating university has a specific focus: 1. A first academic degree (BA or equivalent) in one of the disciplines involved or in a related discipline with a final grade of at least good (2,0; ECTS B) 2.
