1 i Francesca Bonenti - Curriculum Vitae Personal information First name: Francesca Surname: Bonenti [email protected] Presentation, research interest and teaching activities Dr. Francesca Bonenti is a research assistant (assegnista di ricerca) at the University of Brescia. She received her Ph.D. degree in March 2013 at the University of Bergamo. Her research interests are focused on nonlinear optimization and modeling of equilibrium and complementarity problems for the analysis of the energy markets and the industrial sectors taking into account the restrictions imposed by environmental regulations, such as the European Emissions Trading Scheme (EU ETS). In particular with her research team, she investigated the economic impacts of the EU ETS on the Italian electricity using a power generation expansion model. On the other hand, she formulated a spatial equilibrium problem (GNEP) for analyzing how the price of electricity can influence investment decisions in the steel sector. During her research activity she collaborated with members of the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Brescia and the Department of Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science and Applications of the University of Bergamo. She was also invited to spend a visiting period in UAB (Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona) for research with Professor J.E. Martinez-Legaz. She participated as speaker to national and international conferences and she participated to many research projects. Since October 2009 she was in charge for teaching assistant for students in Economics and Engineering of University of Brescia and for students in Mathematics of Catholic University of Brescia.
