1 Muscle OxyGen Monitor CASE STUDY

2 The Client About Moxy: Fortiori Design has developed the Moxy Muscle Oxygen Monitor system to measure the oxygen levels of muscles in athletes while they exercise. Its accurate, real time measurements are fundamental to athletic performance. Oxygen is the fuel that drives the muscles, and muscle oxygen levels are constantly changing with exercise intensity. The Moxy device provides the feedback on exercise intensity that athletes are looking for. Our technology is superior to existing measurements because it is completely mobile, continuously recording, and totally non-invasive. The Need When Fortiori first came to SyneCore, they had just finalized a beta version of the Moxy device. Having just finished beta development of its product, Fortiori had not yet begun any substantial marketing and branding efforts. The company needed to: name its product, identify its primary, secondary, and tertiary target audiences, and organize a comprehensive marketing plan that would inform and educate them about the product. After several meetings with the Fortiori team to understanding the product, its opportunity, and the market sector, the following objectives were agreed on: Educate Consumers on Muscle Oxygenation Create a Memorable Brand Identify Specific Buyer Personas Name Product; Logo Design Design and Build Website Set Up Social Media Presence Begin Marketing Product

3 The Results After a few months of implementation, Moxy enjoyed a huge growth in website traffic and incoming inbound leads from visitors throughout the world. Generated 90 Qualified Leads in 3 Months Grew monthly web traffic to 2,300 visitors in 4 months Expanded reach to Europe, United States, Canada, and Australia Developed a strong brand presence on website and social media Tools Used To Obtain Results SyneCore s integrated digital marketing process utilizes many tools and techniques to achieve success for our clients, including logo design and branding, Hubspot marketing automation software, social media platform management, content creation, SEO, unique calls-to-action (CTAs) and landing page forms, blogs, lead nurturing campaigns, and closed-loop analytics.

4 The Logo Moxy s logo design reflects a bold product that stands out. The M represents an athlete doing pushups, while the O incorporates blue to represent muscle oxygenation. Similar to the M, the X and Y both suggest athleticism. The Moxy logo stands as an emblematic representation of the product and brand throughout the entire marketing progression. 5 The Website We were asked to produce a website that represented the Moxy brand and product. SyneCore completely revamped the website from start to finish. The site is coded using the latest HTML5 best practices. The site is bold, clean, and organized. On the homepage, visitors are greeted with a brief video from Moxy s chief engineer summarizing Moxy Monitor. Overall, the site gives website visitors a strong impression that Moxy is a breakthrough product to be taken seriously. Written content on the site is keyword optimized to attract the desired elements of Fortiori s target audience. In sum, website visitors are greeted with a vibrant-looking site they feel comfortable and confident about engaging with. Website Redesign Goals Clearly explain the product Brand Moxy as bold and powerful Appeal to a specifice target audience Generate interest for Moxy Monitor device Previous Site: Before Redesign

6 Key Components of the new site: HTML5 Incorporates Inbound Marketing best practices Blog & Media section used as content delivery vehicle Video that introduces the owner and the product Messaging architecture geared towards select buyer persona New Site: The differences between Fortiori s initial site and the redesign are drastic. The new site allows consumers to engage with the online content, watch a brief video introduction, and learn in-depth information on the product.

7 Social Media Profiles Moxy s Facebook account incorporates similar elements of the website to keep a cohesive brand message. We ve helped Moxy use Facebook to spread content and engage with prospects. In addition to Facebook and Twitter, we ve added Google+.

9 Q & A: Owner/Chief Engineer Roger Schmitz We asked Moxy Monitor s Chief Engineer Roger Schmitz to answer a few questions about his experience with SyneCore. Here s what he had to say! What was your marketing experience like before SyneCore? I have an engineering background and no training in sales or marketing. I had some exposure to marketing when I worked with for a medical device company. We developed a new product and I was involved in meeting with Doctors to gather product requirements. What has your experience been like using SyneCore? The people at SyneCore have become an integral part of our startup team. We talk almost daily. They know the technical subject matter of digital marketing very well and they've done a great job of applying that to our Moxy Monitor. What results have you achieved using SyneCore? Our website is the most visible result that we've achieved with SyneCore. I get lots of comments from people that are impressed with the professional quality of the site. It really makes us look bigger than we are which is really important when we're trying to make connections with trainers, academics, and businesses. People take us seriously after they see the site. The quality of the traffic that we get from the digital marking effort is not as visible, but it's extremely important. A lot of the right kinds of people are finding us! We've had journalists, professional trainers, athletes, and sporting goods stores all reaching How has SyneCore Integrated with your organizational structure? We only have 2 full time employees, so we don't have much of an organizational structure. SyneCore fits into this very well. They are able to adapt to our needs. Most importantly, they are able to produce results without a lot of handholding or intervention from me. They take care of the marketing so I can work on running my business.

10 Why do you think integrated digital marketing is important for brands? Integrated digital marketing brings together companies and customers that want to be brought together. The people that are finding our website are excited to talk to us because they want what we have. I am not aware of another method of marketing that is so effective. It's expensive and ineffective to annoy people that don't want your product. Integrated digital marketing costs less and it connects you with the people that are going to be evangelists for the brand. What do you like most about working with SyneCore?
