4 1. Introduction CACI offers a fully managed Cloud based solution in partnership with Skyscape Cloud Services. Why this solution? The customer will benefit from a significant reduction in cost over the prevailing or alternative hosting solutions, an increase in flexibility in terms of the ability to turn service on and off as required, transparency in relation to the allocation of cost by individual service and a straight pass through of Skyscape charges with no uplift, and the reassurance that this is being managed by a supplier that has experience of delivering IL0-4 managed Cloud services to HMG. Why CACI? As a long standing supplier to HMG, CACI have direct experience of key complex digital services and a wider understanding of working with the public sector. CACI believes that this is a significant factor in reducing the risk of the delivery of this service so that we are jointly able to provisioning new platforms within agreed timescales. As part of a profitable 78m UK business, CACI offers the financial stability of a larger organisation with the flexibility of a smaller focused team. CACI currently has 652 staff across a number of divisions, 586 of these are delivery focused. CACI Digital is made up of 65 permanent resource with additional contractors and offshore resource as required. CACI is actively engaged in the provision of managed Cloud based solutions for both public and private sector UK clients, working with industry-leading Infrastructure-as-a-Service providers. 5 Why Skyscape? Skyscape is the new standard for a greener, smarter, more cost effective cloud solution and Skyscape services are highly secure Pan Government Accreditation (PGA) to IL3, sustainable and compliant. Skyscape s Alliance Partners are QinetiQ, VMware, Cisco, EMC and Ark Continuity, who collectively bring together resources to underpin Skyscape s end-to-end cloud solution. Skyscape s E3 product set has been designed specifically for the needs of the public sector and is characterised by UK sovereign, resilient, scalable and assured cloud computing services based on worldclass technology. Skyscape are involved in most of the Government Digital Services Exemplar projects and provide hosting for GOV.UK. This pedigree makes Skyscape an ideal partner for CACI to provide the managed hosting services for HMG. 2. Financial Benefits In line with Cloud computing principles, you will pay for what you use. All budgetary costing provided by CACI for the provision of managed cloud services are based upon Skyscape published pricing and CACI management charges, with the assumption that the environment is utilised 100% of the time. However, the services are charged based on actual usage (Skyscape IaaS hourly; CACI managed service daily) and efficiencies can be leveraged by switching off environments when not in use (e.g. project work, development and test environments). When the VMs are not in use, no charges will be applied for those items. In addition, CACI offers discounts for overall volume of VMs under management on a monthly basis. This has a significant impact on costs, particularly versus traditional on premise or data centre solutions, saving in the region of 70%. 3. Service Overview CACI provides managed Cloud hosting with Skyscape Cloud Services. Skyscape are Pan Government Accredited for IL0-3 service provision and the CACI management service will be delivered from the CACI Support Centre in West London by SC cleared staff. CACI s Support Centre has been assessed by HMRC, DWP, HM Passport Agency, MoJ and other departments. CACI is fully ISO27001 certified for these services and support is available on a 24 x 7 x 365 basis. CACI is a partner of Skyscape and we are been successfully engaged at the Home Office, MoJ, Environment Agency and Natural Resources Wales. CACI will own the full SLA for the service being provided and will be responsible for managing Skyscape as a supplier. Details of the components of the CACI managed service are shown in Fig 1 below. CACI will work with the customer to define the IaaS design for the service. Where appropriate, Pan Government Accreditors (PGA) and your local Senior Information Risk Officer(SIRO) will be involved in the process from this point forward to ensure an accredited solution to provide IL2 and IL3 hosting as required. Once the design has been agreed, the environment will be provisioned to allow the application providers to commence application installation and configuration. We will work with the application providers and allow authorised access to suitably cleared resources from the appropriate Page 5 of 6 Commercial in Confidence

6 customer suppliers to upload and test the applications and for others to independently penetration test and health check the services. Day to day management of the VMs will be undertaken by CACI, maintaining the correct patching levels and monitoring the utilisation of the service. This will be reported monthly to each service owner, with the costs included for applications where CACI provides support and separately priced for other services if this level of reporting is required. The managed services for IL3 will be delivered across the customer s PSN/GSi network connection using customer supplied access devices. Management of IL0 and IL2 will be over the public internet. CACI will respond within 1 working day to requests from the customer to make changes to the environment. Alternatively, for some services, we will have a prior agreement in place in relation to service utilisation thresholds and will make changes automatically up to agreed levels. Each customer service may be documented separately. Billing will be undertaken on a per service basis showing the hosting and management costs separately. However, the overall volume of business will drive discounts for both hosting and management costs and these will be averaged across each service on a monthly basis. Options are available for standard and enhanced services, providing for full disaster recovery split across two discrete UK data centres. Fig 1 Page 6 of 6 Commercial in Confidence
