4 OUR EXPERIENCE SCREENING PROGRAMS During the last few years we have successfully created and deployed IT solutions for screening program support. The solution consisted of a centralized web-based information system for gathering and validating results and mobile devices to perform the screens in schools across various locations in the country. The mobile devices transmitted the results over the Internet to the central system for further analysis. It has been used to screen over 100,000 people in audiology and cardiology, but it is prepared to support screening programs in different areas. EUROPEAN UNION S SEVENTH FRAMEWORK PROGRAMME As the resounding success of its past health and scientifi c projects gained reputation in Poland, in 2010 Silvermedia was invited to join a consortium applying for funds from the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7), the European Union s primary instrument for funding and supporting research, innovation and knowledge development. It was under this impetus that Silvermedia decided to focus its international strategy on FP7 in In 2011, Silvermedia joined six FP7 consortium applications for 2012 funding. Its responsibilities have included web platform development; remote monitoring in audiology; Europe-wide screening program development; genetics data collection, storage and analysis; scientifi c research collaboration and customized software Time [ms] DIAGNOSIS SUPPORT (ABR, ECG, E-ALLERGY, NEURO- DEGENERATIVE DISEASES INCLUDING ALZHEIMER AND PARKINSON) Using our expertise in computing and data analysis, our close relationships with the scientifi c community, and our history of strong cooperation with specialists from different domains, we have developed diagnosis support systems for various studies of medicine. We installed a diagnosis support system for Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) examinations, which included an advanced, selflearning biosignal processing algorithm for marking the specifi c parts of the signal that were crucial for interpreting the examination results and clinical diagnosis. We also authored ECG processing algorithms for screening purposes, and a survey screen tool for allergy and asthma. We are currently testing stage a new device for the diagnosis process support of Parkinson s Disease. WORKING WITH SPECIALISTS FROM DIFFERENT DOMAINS We have successfully worked on projects with specialists from different domains for many years. We have experience in working in the following areas of medicine: audiology, allergology, cardiology, rheumatology, neurology and oncology. In addition, we have experience in public health, mathematics, informatics, physics, and biosciences including biotechnology.

6 SILVERMEDIC S MODULES HEALTH RECORD MOBILE SUITE Health Record is a centralized, person-centric data repository accessible with web browser. It includes a wide range of preconfi gured data structures for managing demographic data, examination results, events, surveys, notes and more. It is heavily extendable allowing almost infi nite expansion to support new data structures. It gathers data from various sources including external IT systems through integration patterns, from mobile devices, and from data directly entered into the web interface. Mobile Suite supports the development of applications for smartphones and other mobile devices, which are integrated into the web-based system. It ensures the effi cient use of mobile devices at all stages of data acquisition, storing and analysis. It facilitates access to selected Silvermedic features without the need for constant Internet access. It synchronizes automatically with Silvermedic s central database upon connection to the Internet. It is designed to be easy to update, manage and maintain remotely without physical access to the device. TELEMEDICINE DIAGNOSTICS A powerful solution for supporting diagnostic processes, automated scientifi c and medical data validation and categorization. Its pluggable architecture (i.e. the ability to incorporate plugins designed to perform specifi c tasks) uses algorithms for data analysis, and dedicated online tools for supporting the diagnosis. It also includes medical consultation features and the optimization of effort. It can be used to support customized, complex scientifi c and medical processes. SCREENING PROGRAM PLATFORM Screening Program Platform is a solution dedicated to supporting the management of screening programs. It allows for program planning, resource scheduling, monitoring, results validation and follow-up procedures. It heavily relies on Telemedicine Diagnostics for the analysis of incoming screen results and on Health Intelligence for epidemiological and scientifi c analysis. It utilizes devices equipped with Mobile Suite to perform screen tests across dispersed areas, confi guring and monitoring them remotely and gathering data from them, all over the Internet. HEALTH INTELLIGENCE Health Intelligence is a solution for powerful reporting and data analysis, with features for user-made reports. It uses all the gathered data and processes it into superior knowledge. RESEARCH COLLABORATION Research Collaboration is a process-oriented solution facilitating collaboration between researchers, particularly from geographically dispersed teams. It supports the creation of multi-regional and multi-disciplinary research projects, providing communication channels, work plans and document repositories. PORTAL Portal can be used to share the selected information with selected target groups or the general public. Its design and interface may be built from scratch based on the customer s needs and policies. Selected information from the Silvermedic repository can be made accessible to Portal users using widgets that automatically update reports, charts and documents. It is designed to be accessible by large amount of users simultaneously.
