2 What it can do Acano Manager makes it easy to run larger deployments of collaboration infrastructure at lower costs. SELF-SERVICE SCHEDULING Call participants have self-service scheduling options, making it faster for them to set up meetings and enabling operators to focus on active calls and performance metrics. If an operator is needed pre-call, Acano Manager automates notifications, such as when meetings are booked or cancelled. HIGH VOLUME CALL MONITORING Operators can monitor a higher volume of calls using Acano Manager s one-page call dashboard. Operators have control over call functions like connect and mute. They can also monitor issues like network overloads that impact quality, faulty equipment, breakdowns and other incidences. By having information about specific events, operators can address problems before they escalate. 3 Acano Manager and Add-on Modules Acano Manager is included with the Acano solution and includes scheduling, reporting and alerts. Add-on modules include Acano Manager Dashboard, MCU, Multi-tenancy and Billing, and Resiliency and are purchased separately. All modules are fully integrated with Acano Manager for a comprehensive management system accessed though a single user interface. ACANO MANAGER Call participants have the ability to schedule their own calls through: A self-service portal Integration with Microsoft Outlook Operators and administrators can: Schedule calls Set up automated HTML/text s with triggers Provision calls Create cospaces View, filter and export Call Data Records, including call usage, call quality, and call outcomes Generate reports, including activity report, call quality, call summary and mcu port usage (with the MCU module) Monitor notifications and alerts

4 MCU In addition to managing the Acano Solution, other MCUs may be managed from a single page. Operators have visibility into resources and can manage: Cisco MCU 4200 Cisco MCU 4500 Cisco MCU 8510 Polycom RMX DASHBOARD The Acano Manager Dashboard is for enterprises and service providers that want additional call control and advanced reporting. Operators view and manage all calls from a single page view A snapshot provides a visual performance indicator Full call control puts the operator in charge, including connects, disconnects, mutes, layouts, messaging, bandwidth, primary/secondary numbers, and statistics Operators view and manage cospaces Early warning alerts enable operators to flag and fix call issues before they escalate. Administrators can analyze performance rapidly with a configurable status dashboard with widgets. Advanced alert settings predict trouble. A streamlined dashboard interface simplifies the experience. Operators also receive alerts, and administrators can see trending data on port utilization. The flexible architecture of the Acano Manager MCU module allows support for future MCUs that enter the market.

5 MULTI-TENANCY AND BILLING The Acano Manager Multi-tenancy and Billing module provides an automated way to manage multiple customers and to provide the data to bill them accurately and efficiently. The module is designed to lower costs and improve service levels for highly scalable Service Provider offerings. Enterprise clients can also take advantage of the module for divisional or departmental cost allocations and usage analysis. With multi-tenancy: Manage multiple customers on a single system Select customer specific properties, for example default call bandwidth, access controls, billing rates and premium services Automate the process of generating confirmation s to customers, choosing customer specific themes and content Designate MCUs to be shared or dedicated to a customer with overflow services when the customer s MCU is full RESILIENCY The resiliency module provides automatic failover. If the primary node fails, the secondary system initializes and takes over the workload. With the warm standby, typical switch time is 90 seconds. Interfaces are available to allow integration with load balancers.
