Service Activities Service to the Faculty of Communication Sciences I served as Delegate for studies (delegato agli studi) of the Faculty of Communication Sciences since September From September 2010, with the approval of the new statutes, the function has been redefined as Vice-dean delegate for studies. I am now serving in the Collegio dottorale of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, the board supervising admissions and program our doctoral school. Activity as Executive Editor of the journal Studies in Communication Sciences ( ) While I held the post of Executive editor of the journal Studies in Communication Sciences ( in November 2003, I edited 6 regular issues of the journal, 1 special issue and the anniversary issue celebrating the 10 th year of the faculty of Communication Sciences in Lugano. Each regular issue counting around 256 pages features a thematic section, edited jointly with a guest editor, and a general section containing articles from different areas of communication sciences, for which I was the sole editor. I finally left the post of executive editor when the journal began to be published jointly with Page 3

4 SGKM (Schweizerischen Gesellschaft für Kommunikations- und Medienwissenschaft) with a different editorial organization.
