Make sure to read this manual carefully before using this product. Please note that specification and information are subject to changes without prior notice in this manual. 3 7 Faults & Solutions Command Summary function Working Based on existing GSM/GPRS network and GPS satellites, this product can locate and monitor any remotetargets by SMSorGPRS. 1.1 Positioning and Tracking: Throughthe on-line Positioning Platformorthe cell phone to locates at times, and getthe working status. Youcan choose the Positioning Platformby yourself. 1.2 Triggering Emergency Alarm: When there is aemergency happened on the vehicle, youcan put onthe buttonand the installed unit will send out alarm tothe authorized numbers. 1.3 Remotecontrolling oil and circuit: you cancontrol the oil and circuit via the unit by SMS in anywhere and anytime. 1.4 RemoteMonitoring: Inanywhere and anytime, call the phone number in the unit, when it connects, youcan monitorthe sound around 5 meter. 1.5 Movement Alert:Send SMSto the unit tostartthe movement alertfunction. When the vehicle is moving, the unit will send the movement alert toall authorized numbers. 1.6 Overspeed Alert: Send SMS tothe unit tostartthe movement alertfunction. When the vehicle is overspeed, the unit will send the overspeed alertto all authorized numbers. 1.7 Geo-fence: Setupageo-fence forthe unit to restrict its movements within adistrict. Without permission, the user can t repair and move the tracker randomly. If users do, any unfortunate damage should be compensatedby himself. 5

7 Installationsteps (caution:thefollowing installation should undernopower,otherwise will bedangerous) Wire forcuttingoff oil ofthetracker Yellow wire connects the relay feet 86; 85 feet to 12 VDC anode, 87 feet and 30 feet in series in the supply oil circuits. Wire forcuttingoff circuit ofthetracker White wire connects relay feet 86; 85 feet to 12 VDC anode, 87 feet and 30 feet are in series in the supply powercircuits. Emergency triggering alarm The blue wire connects the anode of the alarm button, and the black wire connects the cathodeofthe alarm button. Power supply line The red wire connects 12V + ;Black wire connectsto12v - 5.3Startup Installed the tracker in the car,then putthe SIMcard intothe tracker host outdoors Forfirst use, please initialize the unit and restore it todefault setting.( please refer to5.4forinstruction.) In 10 or 40 seconds, the unit will begin to workand acquire the GSM signals as well as the GPS signals, and the red indicator will keep flashing every 2seconds when the GPS module is in standby mode. When the blue indicatoris keep shine, the unit has been located When this unit receives GPS signals normally, you can use it and doall the following settings. 5.4Initialization Send begin+password in SMS to the unit, it will reply begin ok and initialize all the settings. (Default password:123456) 5.5Changethe password Send SMS "password+oldpassword+ space +new password"to change the password. Remark: Make sure the new password is in 6digits, or else the tracker cannot recognize the password. 7

8 5.5.2 you can Send "resumepassword" to the tracker, to restore the original setting in case of losing the new password. Remark:Please remember thenew password, because most ofthe instruction needthepassword toset 5.6Authorization There are only 5 numbers able tobe authorized Call the trackerfor10 times, it will make the cell phone number as the authorized number automatically SendSMS "admin+password+space+cell phonenumber" tosetupaauthorizednumber. Theother authorized numbers should be set by the first authorized number. Ifthe number is successfully authorized, the unit will reply "addadminnumberok!" in SMS SendSMS "noadmin+password+ space +authorized number" todeletethe authorizednumber. Ifthe number is successfully authorized, the unit will reply "cancel admin numberok!" in SMS For roaming purpose, you have to add your country code ahead of the cell phone number, for example, please send "admin " totracker toset as an authorized number. 5.7Real-time polling If there is no authorized number, when any number dials up the unit, it will report ageo-info; If there is already anauthorized number, then it will notrespond when anunauthorized number calls it up When an authorized number dials up the unit, it will hang upand reportareal-time Geo-info as below: 5.8AutoTrack ReportaGeo-info at 30s intervals tothe authorized numbers for15times: Set up: Send SMS "at30sum15 "to the unit, it will report the Geo-info at 30s intervals for 15 times. The setting must be maximum in value Send SMS "at30sum0" to the unit, it will reply SMSheaps oftimes Cancel: Send noat+password to delete the autotrack. 8

9 5.9 Remote control oil and circuit Controloil Send SMS "stopoil+password" to controloil. Forexample send SMS:stopoil To supply the oil again, send SMS "supplyoil+password" to the unit Controlcircuit Send SMS "stopelec+password" to control circuit. For example send SMS: stopelec To supply the circuit again, send SMS "supplyelec+password" to the unit. If there is no authorized number, all number can control. If there is already an authorized number, only the authorizednumber can control. 5.10Modes switch between"tracker"and"monitor" The default mode is "tracker" Send SMS "monitor+password" to the unit, and it will reply monitor ok! and switch to monitor mode Send SMS "tracker+password" to the unit, it will reply trackerok! and restore to track mode. 5.11Geo-fence Set up ageo-fence for the unit to restrict its movements within adistrict. The unit will send the message to the authorizednumbers when it breaches the district Set up: When the unit stays immobile in a place for 3-10 minutes, the user can Send SMS "stockade+password+ space +latitude,longitude;latitude,longitude" to unit to set the restricted district. In case of breach, it will send SMS"stockade!+geo-info" to the authorized numbers. Remark :The first latitude&longitude is coordinate of the top left corner of the Geo-fence, while the second latitude&longitude is the coordinate ofthe bottom right corner.itwill alarmone time in each setting Cancel: Send SMS "nostockade+password" to deactivate this function. This function will be outofeffect after the unit moves outside the district. 5.12Movementalert Set up: When the unit stays immobile in a place for 3-10 minutes, the user can send SMS "move+password" to the unit, then the unit will reply move ok!. In case of such a movement, it will send SMS Move along withageo-info tothe authorized numbers. Itwill alarmone time in each setting Cancel: Send SMS "nomove+password" todeactivatethe movement alert. Remark:This functionwill be out ofeffect afterthe unit moves outside the district. 5.13Overspeed alert: Set up: Send SMS "speed+password+ space +080" to the unit (suppose the speed is 80km/h), and it will reply "speed ok!". When the target moves exceeding 80 km/h, the unit will send SMS 9

10 "speed+080!+geo-info" to the authorized numbers. It will alarm one time in each setting Cancel: Send SMS "nospeed+password" todeactivatethe overspeed alert 5.14Restart thetracker. Send SMS "reboot+password" to the tracker.forexample"reboot123456".the trackerwill be restarted. 5.15SOSbutton Press the SOS for 3second, it will send "help me!"to all the authorized numbers every 3minutes. It will stop sending such asmswhen any authorized number reply SMS "help me!"tothe tracker. 5.16Cutpoweralert Ifcut power,theunit will send SMS alert. SMS format: "CutpowerAlert+Geo-info". 5.17set numberinaonline positioningplatform Add the number on the online positioning platform for tracking. Adding to the special platform, send SMS "number+tracker number" to the tracker. for example number need the platform have the function. 5.18Modes switch between telephone and web Forsending GPSdata toipaddress: Setup: SendSMS "web+password" todevice. if setsuccessfully, the device will replysms "set webok". Afterthis, you can call the tracker.the trackerwill hang upthe phone and reportthe GPS datato IPaddress Forsending GPSdatatotelephone: Setup: SendSMS "telephone +password" todevice. if set successfully, the device will reply "set telephone ok". And then, the device will send GPSdatatoyourtelephone by SMS. Remark:The default is sending the GPS datato the telephone. 5.19GPRS setting In order to use GPRS function, the user needs to set IP,Port and APN (access point name )by sending SMS commands Setan IPaddress and port: 10

11 The IP address and port of Communication Protocol in the tracker can be modified and transferred data to other platform. Send SMS "ip +ip address+port +port number" tothe unit. If the tracker sipaddress and port number should be modified to and 8500, send SMS"ip port8500"tothe tracker SetAPN/APN userandpassword In order to send GPS data to IP address, you still must set mobile networkapn (.Access Point Name) Ifyoudon tknowtheapn, youcanconsult local networkservice supplier. The formatofsetapnis "apn + password +space +apn name ".For example the Chinese apn is cmnet so you send SMS "apn cmnet"tothedevice. Thedevicewill replysms "SetAPN ok. " Sendmessage"user+password+ space +user name+ space +user password"toset theapn user 5.20SetTime In order to make the time as the same with the user country,please send SMS command "zone space +time zone". For example,if user country time is GMT+8,then send"zone "to the device. If user country time is GMT-6,then send"zone "todevice.the device will reply SMS"settimezone ok". 6Cautions 6.1 Make sure toread this manual carefully before using this product. 6.2 Please insert the SIM card before installing, and make sure the SIM card has no password, otherwise the trackerwill notworknormally. 6.3 The tracker s workvoltage is 10V-36V.Please use the tracker in the scopeofworkvoltage. 6.4 Please make sure that all the cables of the tracker has been connected rightly, and then connect the tracker tohost power. 6.5 The tracker works in wireless communications, to avoid electromagnetic interference or incompatible configuration, please stopusing your trackerin the noticed place. 6.6 Keep the unit dries.any liquid, i.e. rain, moisture, may destroyordamage the inside circuitry. 6.7 Clear the unit withapiece ofdrycloth. Don tclean in chemicals ordetergent. 7. Faults &The solutions Faults StartupFail Hang upfail MonitorFail Solution Check the batteryand see if it is fully chargedor correctly installed. In existence of an authorized number, an unauthorized number dials up the unit. Please initialize the unit and re-set upthe authorized numbers. Check if the authorized number is setuporin the coverage ofsignals. 11
