1 AAMC thanks you for your support and generosity to our pediatric patients. Your gifts can go a long way towards brightening a hospital stay for a child. If you or your organization would like to donate an item to our Pediatrics Department, we ve compiled a list of items that our young patients would appreciate. Pediatric patients and even some parents benefit from utilizing this tool as a coping mechanism during stressful situations. Please follow the link below on suggestions to make worry stones. *** Teaching Dolls o Utilizing play therapy is a great teaching doll that allows children to master developmental milestones and critical events such as hospitalization. By providing cloth dolls-children can create their own patient and act out upcoming/past medical events.
