The latter is particularly important as you embark upon future studies in this discipline. Ultimately this portfolio will become a space where you will track and evidence your competencies in Sports and Exercise science across the program. 2 Portfolio submissions with multiple elements The portfolio is an electronic document that has been prepared using PebblePad. It consists of a series of activities that you will submit twice during semester. The first submission will be in Week 5, with the second submission in Week 11. The Week 5 submission will be based on the material from the Laboratory/Practical sessions from Weeks 2-5, and the Week 11 submission will be based on work from the Laboratory/Practical sessions from Weeks 6-11The elements involve answering a number of discussion questions, and/or completing data processing, problem solving, and graphing tasks. Each activity will also have self-reflection questions that are designed help you to contextualise your experiences from these classes and scope towards professional life - What does this mean for me? You will be assessed on the following criteria: Knowledge of common issues in sport and exercise sciences Knowledge of issues in specific exercise science sub-disciplines Analysis and interpretation of laboratory data Use of appropriate references where applicable Effective written communication that demonstrates your understanding of the concepts Generic skills assessed in Assessment Task 2 Introductory Developing Graduate Problem solving Information literacy Communication Assessment Task 3: Sports and Exercise Science graphic Goal: Product: Format: Criteria The aim of this assessment task is for you to pull together all of your knowledge and understanding of the key issues covered during the semester.
