3 Admissions requirements AIB College of Business Requirements 1. Scholastic achievement: 2.5 GPA, or 2.0 GPA and 18 ACT or 11 Nelson-Denny 2. Official transcripts (all secondary and post-secondary schools attended) 3. Military transcripts 4. Proof of military service (military ID) Military students must contact the Veterans Administration to apply for education benefits, and their enrollment must be certified to the VA by AIB s Office of the Registrar. AIB College of Business offers athletic scholarships for deserving top-notch student-athletes as well as scholarships for those students who are academically strong. Athletic scholarships require an assessment by AIB s coaching staff. If you are a student-athlete, please contact a coach in your sport. 3

5 Payments and deposits Payment information All payments for tuition, fees and housing must be received by the first day of each term. Payments received after this deadline (including pending financial aid) are considered past due and are subject to a $30 late fee. Please contact Ann Polito at or PolitoA@aib.edu for more information. Tuition deposit A $50 tuition deposit is due following a student s notification of acceptance. Deposits are applied toward tuition during the first term of enrollment and are refundable if AIB is notified of cancellation by May 1 for Fall Term start dates or 30 days prior to winter, spring or summer start dates.* Housing deposit For students living on-campus, a $200 housing reservation deposit is due with housing applications. Housing assignments are made on a first-come, first-served basis when a student has been both accepted and deposited. The housing deposit is refundable if AIB is notified of cancellation by May 1 for Fall Term start dates or 30 days prior to winter, spring or summer start dates. A refund is made only if the cancellation notice applies to the initial enrollment date.* * Payment for tuition and housing deposits may be made by accessing the My Tasks section of the student s MyAIB account ( or by one of the methods listed above. 5

6 Military student application checklist This checklist will help organize the application process. Be sure to document the steps you take in applying for admission. COMPLETE 1. Official transcripts that provide evidence of graduation from a secondary school OR transcripts from all postsecondary institutions attended. 8 Accepted military student checklist Upon acceptance, students will be notified by AIB College of Business. COMPLETE 1. Receive acceptance letter from AIB College of Business 2. Complete Institutional Aid Application This is required to be eligible for scholarships through AIB. 3. Certify AIB enrollment to VA Contact AIB s Registrar s Office or complete form on the AIB Student Portal. 4. Complete FAFSA (optional to apply for grants and loans) AIB school code is Create a MyAIB account Go to my.aib.edu. Click Login. If you have already registered for MyAIB, fill in your user name and password. If you have not yet registered, click Register for a MyAIB Account. Fill in the name fields and a valid address. Click Next. Answer the question. Click Next. Fill in the MyAIB user name, password and security question. Click Create Account. Suggestion: Make your user name and password the same as your AIB user name and password so they are easy to remember 6. If planning to live on campus, complete and return housing contract to AIB; pay $200 deposit Go online at my.aib.edu or call Business Services at Pay $25 tuition deposit 8.
