1 WORKFORCE FLORIDA INC. BOARD OF DIRECTORS Governor Rick Scott lives in Tallahassee. He is the 45 th Governor of the State of Florida. Prior to his election in November 2010, Governor Scott was a lawyer and businessman, having founded Columbia Hospital Corporation after practicing law in Dallas. Dwayne Ingram, Chairman, lives in the Tampa Bay area. Mr. Ingram is a partner at Avasant, a global management and technology advisory services firm. He joined Avasant as part of the company s acquisition of Sourcingboard, where he also was a partner. Previously, Mr. Ingram was Executive Vice President of Amadeus, a travel industry IT provider based in Madrid, Spain, and was instrumental in building the company s IT business in the United States. Mr. Ingram also spent 21 years at IBM, where he last ran the Application Services business, a $2.5 billion unit of IBM Global Services, and held other executive management positions during his tenure. He is a graduate of Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Communications. Mr. Ingram is active in several civic and charitable organizations. Jennifer Grove, Vice Chairman, lives in Pensacola. She is Gulf Power Company s workforce development coordinator, where she is responsible for the creation and management of talent development partnerships to grow Gulf Power s future workforce and to enhance Northwest Florida s economic development position. Ms. Grove helped found and serves on the Executive Committee of the Florida Energy Workforce Consortium and serves as a board member on the Florida Education Foundation, and as a member of the Florida Chamber s Talent and Education Caucus. Ms. Grove is actively engaged in workforce development initiatives at both the Southern Company and national level through the Southern Company Workforce Development Council and the national Center for Energy Workforce Development. Brittany Olivieri Birken lives in Tallahassee. She is the CEO of the Florida Children s Council, leading businesses, organizations, agencies and other key stakeholders in work efforts that support Florida s children, youth and families. Through her work on the Innovation and Talent Caucus aligned to the Chamber of Commerce Foundation s Six Pillars and in support of the development of the Workforce Florida Inc. Talent Pipeline initiative Dr. Birken is focused on leveraging public and private partnerships in support of a comprehensive workforce development system. Bob Campbell lives in Jacksonville. He is program director for logistics at Honeywell, where he has worked since 1979, serving as a program manager for space systems. He is active in several civic and professional organizations, including the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce.

2 Steve Capehart lives in Jacksonville. He is president and serves as a business agent for the Jacksonville Supervisors Association, a labor union. Mr. Capehart is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and the Florida National Guard. Charles T. Corley lives in Tallahassee. He is the Secretary of the Florida Department of Elder Affairs, the state unit responsible for administering human services programs for the elderly and for developing policy recommendations for long-term care. Mr. Corley manages the department s activities and serves as an advocate for the issues and programs that affect Florida s 4.45 million seniors. His career in the health and human services field spans more than 30 years across both the public and private sectors. Duane E. De Freese lives in Indialantic. He is senior vice president of Science and Business Development for AquaFiber Technologies Corporation. He has served as an adjunct professor of oceanography at Brevard Community College and interim director of the University of Central Florida College of Business. Dr. De Freese also was the vice president of Florida research for the San Diego-based Hubbs-SeaWorld Research Institute. Kevin Doyle lives in Jacksonville. He is a founding partner of Wexford Strategies, a government affairs consulting firm with offices in Jacksonville and Washington, DC. He is also the executive director for the Consumer Energy Alliance of Florida. Mr. Doyle has worked for two U.S. Senators as state director for Sen. Mel Martinez and as the administrative director for Joint Economic Committee Chairman and Sen. Connie Mack. While in Washington, Mr. Doyle also worked at the Office of Presidential Personnel in the White House and for the U.S. Department of Labor, serving as the deputy director for the Office of the 21 st Century Workforce. Matthew J. Falconer lives in Windermere. He is the president of Falcon Development. Mr. Falconer is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and former member of the Government Efficiency Task Force. Benedict Ben Grzesik lives in Melbourne. He is a certified Senior Human Resource Professional with more than 30 years of experience as a human resources/ risk management executive. Mr. Grzesik serves, on Workforce Florida s behalf, on the Florida Rehabilitation Council for the Blind. For the past 13 years, as an adjunct faculty member, he has taught human resources coursework online for the University of Maryland University College.

3 Randy Hanna lives in Tallahassee. He is Chancellor of the Florida College System, overseeing the state s 28 state colleges. A longtime attorney for Bryant Miller Olive, he has served on various higher education boards including the boards of trustees for Tallahassee Community College and Florida A&M University. Mr. Hanna also served on the State Board of Community Colleges. Elli Hurst is the vice president of Globally Integrated Capabilities for IBM s Global Business Services unit. Ms. Hurst has been with IBM for 20 years and has experience in business process transformation and systems integration across multiple industries. Prior to her current position, Ms. Hurst held various jobs within the IBM Services business including Application Management Services Sector Sales Leader, Strategy & Operations Executive and AMS North America Solution Leader. She also completed a tour of duty at IBM Headquarters as the Executive Assistant to the IBM Global Services Americas General Manager. Prior to joining IBM, Ms. Hurst was a management consultant with Price Waterhouse. Leslie Ingram lives in Pensacola. She is the vice president of Implementation Services at Overgroup Consulting. Overgroup was named to the 2012 Inc list and was named by GrowFL as one of Florida s 50 Companies to Watch in In 2008, Ms. Ingram received the Pensacola Rising Star Award in recognition of her work as economic development chair for Internship Pensacola. Esther Jacobo lives in Miami. She is interim Secretary of the Florida Department of Children and Families. She most recently served as the regional managing director for the Southern Region of the Florida Department of Children and Families. Ms. Jacobo first began serving at DCF in 2008 as Statewide Deputy Director of Children s Legal Services, where she was responsible for statewide litigation practices. Bill Johnson lives in Tampa. He is vice president of Finance Shared Services for Coca-Cola Refreshments. He serves on the Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Council, the Tampa Bay Partnership and the School of Accountancy Advisory Council at the University of South Florida. Mr. Johnson previously served as an appointed board member for the Florida Council on Efficient Government. William Bill Law lives in Clearwater. He is president of St. Petersburg College. Dr. Law also has served as president of Tallahassee Community College, Montgomery College in Houston and Lincoln Land Community College in Illinois. Rick Matthews lives in St. Johns. He is a vice president at the global security firm Northrop Grumman, serving as site manager overseeing operations in St. Augustine and Melbourne. Mr. Matthews has served as a member of Workforce Florida s Target Industry Cluster Task Force for the aerospace industry, helping Florida attract aerospace businesses while supporting the talent and infrastructure needs of existing aerospace businesses. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

4 Bill Montford lives in Tallahassee and represents District 3 in the Florida Senate. He is CEO of the Florida Association of District School Superintendents. He has served as vice chair of the Senate Education Committee and chair of the Agriculture Committee. Edwin H. Moore lives in Tallahassee. He is president and CEO of the Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida. Dr. Moore previously worked as staff director for the Florida House of Representatives Policy Committee and was president and CEO of the James Madison Institute. W. Alexander Alex Moseley lives in Venice. He is president and CEO of MoseSys Inc. and has more than 15 years of combined HR and IT consulting experience. He is also an adjunct professor at State College of Florida. Mr. Moseley is a former foundation president and vice president of the United Way of South Sarasota County and current president of the Sertoma Club of Venice. Prior to moving to Florida, Mr. Moseley participated in several economic impact and feasibility studies for the state of Arizona and the Governor s Strategic Partnership for Economic Development. Jeanette Nunez lives in Miami and represents District 119 in the Florida House of Representatives. For the 2013 Florida Legislative Session, she is serving as chair of the Higher Education & Workforce Subcommittee, and vice chair of the Rulemaking Oversight & Repeal Subcommittee. Jesse Panuccio is the executive director of the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity. Mr. Panuccio previously served as the general counsel to Florida Governor Rick Scott. He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and is a member of the Florida and Washington, D.C., bar associations. Andre Andy Perez lives in Miami. He is the owner and CFO of The Academy Miami Campus. Mr. Perez also is a member of the South Florida Workforce Board. W. Keith Perry lives in Gainesville and represents District 21 in the Florida House of Representatives. For the 2013 Florida Legislative Session, he is serving as vice chair of the Healthy Families Subcommittee. From August 2011 to August 2012, he served as the Deputy Whip in the Florida House of Representatives. Linda Reiter lives in Miramar. She is a special education teacher in the Miami- Dade County Public Schools District. Ms. Reiter was the first teacher of the deaf in Miami-Dade County Public Schools to achieve National Board Status as an exceptional teacher. She is a member of the Superintendent s District Advisory Panel for Students with Disabilities and is the co-chair of the Committee for Students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.

5 Maria C. Rodriguez lives in Miami. Ms. Rodriguez has been the executive director of Youth Co-Op Inc. for more than 20 years. She has been in the voluntary sector and human care field for 35 years, previously working as a monitor for South Florida s Department of Labor Programs. Ms. Rodriguez current appointment to the Workforce Florida Board follows a prior board service term from 2005 to 2008, during which she served as the vice chair of the Youth Development Council. Richard Ric Shriver lives in Tallahassee. He is the senior consultant for Leadership and Organizational Development, HCA National. Mr. Shriver has 34 years of experience in healthcare human resources leadership positions and is a certified Senior Professional Human Resources professional. S. Britt Sikes, Jr. lives in Ft. Lauderdale. He is the CEO of U.S. Imaging Solutions, a DEX imaging company. Mr. Sikes is chair of Jack & Jill Children s Center, an early learning center in Broward County. He also is a former chair, and current member, of the United Way of Broward County. Steven Sonenreich lives in Miami. Mr. Sonenreich has more than 35 years of experience in healthcare, primarily in senior executive leadership at academic medical centers, and is currently the president and CEO of Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach. Mr. Sonenreich spearheaded the opening of the Mount Sinai Heart Institute, Florida s premier cardiovascular program, in Mr. Sonenreich earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton and a Master of Business Administration and Certification in Healthcare Administration from the University of Miami. Linda Sparks lives in Orange Park. She is the regional executive director for the Jacksonville Academy of Electrical Technology. A member of the Rotary Club, Dr. Sparks has served on numerous boards and commissions, including the Greater Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce Board of Governors and the Florida Public School Construction Commission. Pam Stewart lives in Tallahassee. Ms. Stewart is Florida s commissioner of education. Previously, she served as Chancellor of Public Schools for the Florida Department of Education, overseeing K-12 student achievement; curriculum, instruction, and student services; school improvement; and educator quality. Ms. Stewart has also served as the deputy superintendent for Academic Services in the St. Johns County School District. She was also a classroom teacher, an elementary and high school principal, and a guidance counselor in Florida. Alfredo Al Stimac lives in Altamonte Springs. He is the owner and president of Metal Essence Inc. and is a member of the Board of Directors of Workforce Central Florida. Mr. Stimac is president of the Manufacturing Association of Florida and serves on the board for the Manufacturing Association of Central Florida and the Washington, D.C.-based National Association of Manufacturers.

6 Mike Tomas lives in Miami. He is president and CEO of Bioheart Inc. He also serves as chairman of the Florida International University Global Entrepreneurship Center. Mr. Tomas has served as a member of Workforce Florida s Target Industry Cluster Task Force for the life sciences industry, helping Florida attract life science businesses while supporting the talent and infrastructure needs of existing life science businesses. Wansley Walters lives in Tallahassee. She is Secretary of the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice. Ms. Walters formerly was the director of the Miami-Dade Juvenile Services Department. Rodney Wickham lives in Jacksonville. He is a longtime utility worker who since 2007 has served as president and business manager for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 2358.

7 DESIGNEES Mike Carroll lives in Tampa. A designee for the Secretary of the Department of Children and Familes, he currently serves as DCF s Suncoast regional managing director. Christy Daly lives in Tallahassee. A designee for the Secretary of the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ), she was appointed deputy secretary after serving as the department s chief of staff. Ms. Daly s service at DJJ includes interim chief of staff, external affairs director and legislative affairs director. She also served as executive director of the Florida Juvenile Justice Foundation. Prior to working at DJJ, she led the statewide implementation of the Safe Place program at the Florida Network of Youth and Family Services. Ms. Daly received a bachelor s degree in social work from Florida State University and is a graduate of Leadership Tallahassee. Rod Duckworth lives in Tallahassee. A designee for the Commissioner of Education, he is Chancellor for the Division of Career and Adult Education within the Department of Education. He has extensive state and national experience in Career Technical Education having most recently served as the interim deputy director for Career and Technical Education in the Arkansas Department of Career Education. JoAnn Williams lives in Tallahassee. A designee for the Secretary of the Department of Elder Affairs, she currently serves as the state director of the Senior Community Service Employment Program.
