1 4th Quarter 2011 On December 13, 2011, Delta Air Lines and US Airways announced their agreement to transfer takeoff and landing rights between New York s LaGuardia and Washington D.C. s Reagan National airports in an industry slot swap. While this transfer will affect the overall number of departures, Port Columbus International Airport maintains service to these valued airports. Effective March 25 th Flights Seats United Dulles US Airways Reagan Southwest Baltimore ,285 Overview 4Q11 passenger traffic decreased 1.2% compared to the same period in YTD passenger traffic increased 0.2% compared to Rickenbacker s 4Q11 cargo traffic increased 19.8% compared to Rickenbacker s 2011 YTD cargo traffic decreased 5.0% compared to Rickenbacker s 2011 YTD passenger traffic increased 40.5% compared to Delta Air Lines added Saturday seasonal service to Cancun on February 18. American Airlines Effective July 11 th Flights JFK LaGuardia Seats Apple Vacations added Sunday seasonal service to Cancun on February 19. Delta Air Lines resumed service to Los Angeles on March 2 and added Saturday seasonal service to Orlando on March 3. American Airlines will add a sixth daily flight to New York- LaGuardia beginning April 3. Direct Air will resume seasonal service to Myrtle Beach beginning May 23 and will add year-round service to Lakeland, FL beginning June 17.
