1 Tara Boyette Hello all, I m Tara! I am a senior studying Marketing and International Business. The past three years have flown by so fast, but I have loved every second of being here! Getting involved has been the greatest benefit to me and I am a part of a plethora of activities and clubs around campus. Other than that, I absolutely love the outdoors! I am constantly making my way out hiking, biking, tanning here and there and especially skiing. I also love to sing and dance, and some might even see me prancing around the business school now and again! That s only if you re really lucky, though. I will, however, always be carrying a coffee cup everywhere I go. I m addicted, basically. I like to be crafty, I absolutely hate brussel sprouts, and traveling is my biggest passion. I can t wait to meet all of you and GO BUFFS! Chaoliang Chen Hello, my name is Chaoliang Chen and this is my first year mentoring with the P2P program and I am excited to get to know my mentees. I am a senior international finance student from China and the life at CU is wonderful! Studying in Leeds School is the best decision I have ever made. Boulder is such a beautiful place and I ve got a lot of friends here. I am currently a member of Beta Alpha Psi which is a professional development program for accounting and finance student. I love to help freshmen international students with adjusting to the new life at CU! Looking forward to meeting you all.

2 Vally Dikovitskaya Hi! My name is Vally and I'm graduating May 2014 from the Leeds School of Business. Since starting at CU, I've gotten involved in the Society for Human Resources Management and the International Business Club. I'm emphasizing in HR management and getting a certificate in international business - my hope is that I will travel and experience new cultures for work. I would love to visit India, most of Southeast Asia, Western Europe, and the Middle East, to name a few. Out of everything there is to do here, I enjoy hiking, knitting, and playing intramural sports. I also like to do yoga, run every now and then, read, and watch movies. I'm really excited to be a mentor this year and I can't wait to help you in any way I can! Alexander Dragten My name is Alex and I am an upcoming sophomore studying business finance here at Leeds. I am active in several clubs and organizations including Leeds Scholars, Leeds Ambassadors, Navigators, and Finance club. One of my passions is traveling and learning about new cultures, languages, and people. This has manifested itself in me spending a year backpacking through Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, and Peru with my best friend. While there I learned the difficulties that arise from living in a new culture. This is why I am so excited to be a peer mentor for international students as I can relate to the struggles that they may face in the upcoming school year.

3 Talia Mowszowski Hi, My name is Talia Mowszowski and I am a senior year here at CU Boulder majoring in accounting and finance. I am originally from Sydney, Australia but transferred to CU almost two years ago when my family moved to Colorado for a business opportunity. I am the President of the International Business club where we bring in speakers and put on events helping students travel overseas and see what it is like to go to a new country. I am also involved in the Gamma Phi Beta sorority and the professional mentorship program. I love skiing, going to the beach, reading (Harry potter obviously), going to concerts and travelling! I also know firsthand how confusing it is coming to a new country and not knowing anyone or how anything works so hopefully, I can help out in making your life easier! Yun-Nam Nam My name is Yun-nam, but I go by Nam. I was born in South Korea and moved to the U.S. when I was about 4 years old. I have lived most of my life in Colorado, but have traveled a decent amount. My favorite activities are skateboarding, going on hikes, and playing pool. I am a very open person and I love hearing other individual's opinions. Most of my time is filled up with school and work, but we can always plan ahead and meet together. I'm looking forward to meeting you in the near future! Oluwatoyin Oyatogun Hi! I am Toyin Oyatogun. I m a sophomore in the business school and I really love it! I m from Nigeria and am also an international student. I love taking long walks in the park and sitting on the beach Nah, Just kidding! I love hanging out with friends and I can spend a whole day indoors as long as I have my laptop and food. I am very involved around campus and I love every single thing I do. I m an international student guide and vice president of the international business club so I really love working with an international population.

4 I do not like the snow in any way and would prefer to see it only on the trees and buildings because it looks pretty on them. I am really looking forward to being a peer mentor this semester and working with lovely people! Patrice Stockover Hi! I'm Patrice Stockover, I am a sophomore in the Leeds School of Business and am involved in the Greek life at CU. I was a mentee in the program last year and loved it and look forward to being a mentor this year and helping in any way that I can! I am from Fort Collins, CO but I love Boulder and one of my favorite parts of CU is the basketball games. (Especially when we beat CSU!) Coming to CU and getting involved was definitely one of the best decisions I've ever made and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have! Teddi Tostanoski My name is Teddi Tostanoski and I am going to be a senior at the University of Colorado this coming fall. At the Leeds School I am pursing a degree in marketing, but I am also majoring in photography and art history. I have a keen interest in Chinese and have studied the language for five years. My two goals in life right now are, live in China and work in the publishing industry. Besides my academic history and goals, I also play soccer, bike and ski a ton. My favorite animals are octopi and my favorite type of food is Mexican.

5 Alexander Tzeng My name is Alex Tzeng and I m senior, raised here in Evergreen, Colorado. I went to school in Evergreen until high school, in which I went to Lakewood High School. However, I also played lacrosse at Golden High School, an interest I have tried to continue at CU for the ULAX club here. My business emphasis is in marketing, but I also will graduate with a minor in philosophy. My interests and time is spent on a couple of major things; the mock trial team at CU, Collegiate DECA, my academic career, and working as a server and bartender at a country club in Evergreen as well as a researcher for Taylor Law Firm. I am always welcome to helping anyone out that seeks my advice or anything, be it related to school or your lives, feel free to contact me! Arthur Verger My name is Arthur Veger and I am currently a senior here at CU studying accounting. I am originally from Holland but lived in Ohio for a period of two years when I was younger. After the two years in Ohio I went back to Holland where I attended international schools and became friends with people of many different nationalities. I am a part of Beta Alpha Psi, which is an accounting and finance club here on campus and I am also a part of the Professional Mentorship Program. Some of my favorite things to do are snowboarding, making music and going hiking. Mengqin Zheng Hello everyone! I'm Annie. So glad to be a mentor for P2P! I'm an international student from Shanghai, China. I'm an Accounting major and Economics minor. It is a wonderful opportunity to share my experience and stories about study abroad with you guys. I would like to help the international mentees to get involved in the community and to overcome the cross-cultural difficulties. Hope to see you guys soon! Go Buffs!
