2 This Presentation A preview and introduction to YouBIM 4.0, a new BIM solution developed by ENGworks for building owners and operators. YouBIM 4.0, scheduled for release in October 2015, is the Google Maps for a facility and takes a new approach to BIM based building operations. YouBIM 4.0 is an entirely New BIM solution Developed by ENGworks

3 Developed by ENGworks ENGworks is a US based provider of BIM services to the construction industry who have completed more than 1000 BIM projects. Multiple office locations in the Americas & ME, more than 100 BIM technicians and a strong development team. Initially developed as a service. YouBIM has been completely redesigned to be sold as functional FM software.

4 Facilities Management About 80% of the total cost of a buildings lifecycle is during operations and only 20% is spent during design and construction. Small improvements on that 80% mean big savings. BIM s contribution is through increased efficiencies and data management. YouBIM is a Software as a Service (SaaS) Cloud-based solution which extends the value of BIM through to Facilities Management, by integrating information and making it instantly available in the form of data-rich online Models.

11 99% of my property portfolio is not in BIM! Its unrealistic to survey, scan & make BIM models for an entire portfolio. Any BIM strategy must take into account the existing portfolio and the established FM systems (e.g. Maximo) being used. Our 2D - 3D web viewer allows YouBIM to be used on All buildings. By converting the 2D drawings into 3D floor plans.

19 Integration with Room Data. No Room Data or FFE = No Facility Management. There can be thousands of rooms, hundreds or thousands of FFE items, and millions of data. Too much to define or model in a BIM, but the model ID & IFC GLOBALID provide a common link to room data definition programs. 21 Integration with Snagging Paper based snagging workflows are being replaced with Web and Mobile site inspection and defect management systems. Room IDs on the 2D drawings used by snagging can originate from Revit ID or GLOBALID. Linking snagging to YouBIM is a straightforward process.
