2 UN Public Administration Network (UNPAN) Established in 1999 and with over 30 Partner institutions around the world. The first and only global network of its kind. Immediate objective: Establish internet based network that links regional and national institutions devoted to public administration. Long-term objective: Build capacities of these institutions to promote better public administration. 2

6 Citizen Engagement and Preventing Corruption Relationship between the main concepts that underpin initiatives to involve citizens voice, accountability, transparency, trust and those used in anti-corruption. Examples of information, consultation and participation initiatives that have been used in anti-corruption strategies.
