3 Kontiki Video Player Designer The Kontiki Video Player Designer is a tool that enables the creation of the Kontiki Video Players used in third party applications. Users can select from many options to create a customized experience for their player, resulting in thousands of ways to showcase video content and increase viewer engagement. Kontiki Video Player components, style and layout of the videos and video player can be customized. The output of the selections the user makes is the code for the Kontiki Video Player: an embeddable JavaScript object. The Kontiki Video Player Designer contains two parts: 1. The Video Player Designer settings Available on the left of the web page. 2. The Video Player This is a fully functional preview of what the Video Player will look like, displayed on the right of the web page. Kontiki Filmstrip Presentation Set filmstrip animation. Kontiki Display Select Video Player elements to display. Kontiki Video Select and set default video to display on page. Kontiki Styling Choose CSS and image URL settings. The resulting Kontiki Video Player interface configured through SharePoint looks exactly like the player interface configured using the Kontiki Video Player Designer for JavaScript. iframe Widget Overview Kontiki offers an iframe widget option for content originating from Kontiki s VideoCenter portal. These widgets provide a simple way to make Kontiki content, subscriptions, or live events available to users on the web pages they already access. One or more widgets can be embedded on any third party web application. Kontiki offers three different iframe widgets: Player Widget Embeds the Kontiki Video Player for a single video content item. Channel Widget Embeds a list of videos from a particular VideoCenter channel. Tag Widget Similar to a channel widget, except the videos listed are those tagged with one or more owner tags that users can specify. Page 3
