2 PORTFOLIO OF TRAININGS 01 The trainings from the Personal Effectiveness stream are designed to improve a wide array of personal and professional competencies for people from all backgrounds. Even though each training has its specific focus and theme, the competencies that they build are reviewed from the point of view of the holistic personal development. This derives on one of the characteristic features of our trainings: the ultimate goal of each and any of them is to bring about a deep and comprehensive understanding of their subject matter. To put it in other words, we give answers to the question what and how should be done to achieve greater effectiveness, but we also provide explanations on why exactly these are the best steps towards improving your personal effectiveness. These trainings are intended for very diverse audiences and provide practical solutions and instruments for coping with the majority of the most frequent real-life situations and problems, which makes them equally applicable in both private and professional life. The main target audience that these trainings are intended for are managers - regardless of their level and the sector of their company. Their goal is to help managers improve their effectiveness through enriching their perspective with new viewpoints and teaching them how to build working strategies for effective long-term management of the teams and processes that they are responsible for. When designing the educational courses for effective leadership we took into account all major challenges that managers face nowadays. Our portfolio includes trainings that address managers need to lead their teams, but also to take care for their development, motivation and good work environment. 3 PORTFOLIO OF TRAININGS 02 The Team Effectiveness group of trainings covers numerous topics directly related to the effective functioning of the work team. Many of these topics involve classical personal competencies, applicable outside the office as well. Our trainings, however, have twofold design; on one hand they help cultivate certain personal competencies. On the other side, they are meant to fuse together the two rather different viewpoints, stemming from the dualistic nature of the team, which is a collection of different, distinct personalities, who within the company framework function as a whole. In order to achieve maximum effectiveness, the trainings from this stream are targeted at achieving deep and lasting change in the mentality and the disposition of all team members. They address the most serious challenges before the work teams and parallel to training essential personal competencies, our trainings facilitate the development of the team as an organic whole, with vital role for the success of the companies. The focus of the trainings are the practical skills, illustrated with plenty of real-life examples, which makes them equally suitable for individual and professional investors. Since the academic fundaments of the courses are present to the minimum degree necessary or are explained within the trainings, no preliminary economic education is needed for the successful internalisation of the know-how and instruments. The author and lecturer of the trainings is Alexander Nikolov: a very successful portfolio manager, one of the most popular financial analysts in Bulgaria, a prominent name in the field of technical analysis of the financial markets. 4 SERVICES / APPROACH 03 Services Even though all our trainings and courses are indeed services, we use the term service specifically to refer to all other activities within our field of competence that are not directly related to any particular product from our portfolio. The many years of experience in personal and corporate development, during which we have helped a lot of different companies improve their effectiveness and move forward in the desired direction, have accumulated extensive know-how in Likora. Each case in every organization is different and requires a different solution. Today this experience enables us to make available to our clients a wide range of consultancy services that provide framework and environment for the particular trainings. In the same time taking into account the individual and the specific in each and every client, which is characteristic of our approach, allows us to venture into greater depth and detail and offer a flexible individual training service. Popularly known as coaching, this service is especially suitable for those cases in which the need for knowledge and skills is more specific or narrow, and the audience limited in number. Besides the training courses, Likora offers professional service in the following three areas: consultations; coaching; open seminars. 7 HISTORY & TEAM 06 History Likora was established in 2003, when the subject of personal development was quite a novelty in Bulgaria - little talked about and even less tough professionally. Initially the activity of our company and the trainings in our portfolio were targeted at a wide audience, in the format of open seminars, or were tightly linked to the field of HR, as consultations and classical teambuildings. Subsequently, along its growth and development, Likora accumulated knowledge and know-how on the most comprehensive and authoritative theories and teachings for development of the competencies and actualization of the potential each person carries within. Our portfolio of training products is constantly growing larger and more diverse; many of the topics that today are the subject of widely popular and mass-attended trainings, were pioneered in Bulgaria by our company. The training courses in proactivity, self-motivation, goal setting, and wealth management have proven to be comprehensive and innovative enough to pave the road for many other topics from the contemporary personal development theories that the local audiences were still unfamiliar with. However, we found our unique advantage not in the knowledge proper, that we put into our trainings, but rather in the way in which we present that knowledge to the audiences and make it work for their success. Led by the understanding that personal development works best when it happens as a gradual, permanent process, rather than when it comes in the form of isolated singular efforts, we developed our own original training methodology. Thanks to this methodology we can manage the processes in which the knowledge passes to the trainees and instills in them and - in this way really guarantee the effectiveness of our trainings. Actually, it is precisely effectiveness that our positioning is build around, since it is the main criterion against which we measure the contents, the format and the instruments used in all our trainings. Recently Likora ventured into unexplored territory once again with the development of the first in Bulgaria multimedia training in technical analysis of the financial markets. Through a combination of video, voice-over explanations and plenty of practical, real-life examples, the trainees have access to the same information and knowledge as the live seminar gives them, but in their preferred timing, at their own pace and for a lower cost. This training product is still without parallel on the Bulgarian market.
