1 What s Coming up at the Johnson Space Center Greater Houston Business Procurement Forum - January 26, 2016 Charles Williams Senior Small Business Specialist
2 Human Health and Performance Contract (HHPC) Services provided under this contract include fundamental and applied biomedical research; biotechnology development; operational space medicine; occupational health and medicine; and management of clinical, biomedical, space food and environmental laboratories. The contractor also will support behavioral sciences; human factors engineering; spacecraft environment monitoring and management; biomedical engineering; biomedical flight hardware requirements, design, fabrication, testing and operation; and payload and hardware integration with the International Space Station. The maximum potential value of this contract is $1.76 billion. (A little over $200M per year.) This indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract with cost-plus-award-fee task orders has a five-year base period and two option periods that could extend the contract through 2023.
3 Commercial Resupply II Contract Services provided under this contract include delivery of cargo and supplies to the International Space Station (ISS) on commercially operated spacecraft. On January 14, 2016, NASA announced that three companies had been awarded contracts for a minimum of six launches each. SpaceX, Orbital ATK Sierra Nevada Corporation The maximum potential value of all the contracts was indicated to be $14B Over 5 years starting in 2019 thru 2024.
