34 what is a knowledge base? A knowledge base is a set of data about electronic journals and e-books. It is used primarily to direct users of a library to the places where they can read full text content. It is typically used as a part of a link resolver

The changing nature of library collections and the changing expectations of our users means that one day, we won t even distinguish our collections with the prefix of E Libraries will manage collections and provide services rather than managing print, licensed, and digital silos and trying to track down E copies of things.
