1 NR. 04 CONTRADA FEAST AND PALIO REMIERO This year there will be the sixteenth edition of the Palio Remiero delle Contrade of Cavallino Treporti and it is planned for Sunday 14 th June. The challenge recalls the competition among the greengrocers of Sant Erasmo, Vignole and Cavallino, that every morning went with their boats to Rialto market in order to sell the products of their lands, creating genuine challenges in order to arrive first and take the better places. An event where sport and tradition blend and where the lagoon becomes a setting of an unique and wonderful show both for the citizens and for the many tourists that are in our coasts during summer. One of the appointments linked to the event is, at 4.00pm, the bike ride in via Pordelio after the Contrade parade. More information at the notice boards of the campsite! PROMO ACTIVITY and THEME PARTY Sunday 14 th and Sunday 21 st June, appointment with the Promo Activity (at 7.30 pm in Piazza Venezia) and, from pm happy theme party at the Cavana Music&Fun! During the Promo Activity you will have all the information about excursions and routes to get to Venice and to explore the Cavallino Treporti lagoon, to play the sports which Union Lido and Cavallino Sport Center offers to their guests and on the events which will take place, during the week, in the different locations of our Resort. Our animators will be present to have a first meeting with our youngest guests and to explain all the animation activities, from the mini club in the morning to the baby disco in the evening. We wait for you! LIVE MUSIC BLACK BLUES BROTHERS Monday 15 th June, from 9.00 pm in Piazza Lido: musical exhibition of great fun for everyone with the Black Blues Brothers! Five acrobats in American style with Africa in their blood present a breath taking show where music and acrobatic virtuosity will speak for themselves!

In the evening, from 9.00pm at the Cavana Music&Fun (Aqua Park Laguna) terrace, there will be live music and, at the same time in Piazza Venezia cinema for kids! DOG AGILITY IABC and DOG CAMP ACTIVITIES From Thursday 18 th until Sunday 21 st June, at the Cavallino Sport Center, an international Dog Agility competition will take place (IABC International All Bread Cup). The event will give an opportunity to show beauty and elegance in agility to several breeds! 6 EXCURSION IN THE LAGOON INCLUDING A TRY AT VENETIAN STYLE ROWING Every Wednesday afternoon at 6 pm, come along and take part in this exciting trip on a Gondola (a traditional wooden Venetian rowing boat) to watch the sun set over the Lagoon. During the hour you spend on board this boat, you will have the chance to see the flora and fauna of the Lagoon and of the Venetian shoal up close, as well as to try your skills at rowing with the help and explanation of our expert rowers from the Remiera di Cavallino, who will be accompanying you on this splendid adventure. Boats depart from Piazza Cavallino, which you can reach from Union Lido either by bus or by bicycle, for anyone who is unable to use their car. If you decide to visit Venice by yourself, you can use the excellent bus boat public service. From to there will be also a special ATVO bus from Union Lido to Punta Sabbioni and back, every day except Sundays and festivities. 8 EQUITAZIONE At the Cavallino Sport Center the riding centre, open all year round, offers lessons with an instructor for children and adults. There are docile ponies for young children who desire to have their first experience of these fabulous animals. Stabling for horses is also available. The use of bikes or electric city rollers is only allowed to guests who are staying in remote parts of the campsite. In any case, it is only allowed for coming in and going out, using exclusively Via Bologna, Via Verona, Via Torino and Via Cavallino. We ask you to take great care using mono skateboards for the safety of everybody.
